#42 Look at this X-ray, the return of Sam Deseve

#42 Look at this X-ray, the return of Sam Deseve

Sam is back for another show! It's nice to talk to someone with the same shitty ailment I have, but more than that we go into her dynamic with her man who left the  country for 5 months for work, and how two people can live separate lives together. And the daily life of working in the ER, Rotting flesh, casual stabbings, anal insertions and more.... She's an awesome lady, grab a drink and enjoy suckas! Shout out to Graham, who I love to shit on mid podcast, because he's hilarious.

#41 My take on investing in stocks and Cryptos.

I have had a LOT of people asking me about Cryptos and stocks recently. I’ve done very well in both departments. However, I’m no wizard, nor am I exceptionally educated in the topics. I’m proof that you don’t have to be. Here’s me telling you what I know. I hope this helps someone. One thing I’ve learned is many people have no fu Kung clue where to start. I didn’t either until Mellisa put me on the right track and I found apps to easily work with.

#40 Always poop while on the clock with Robert Alferez

#40 Always poop while on the clock with Robert Alferez

This week I sit down with Robert! He trained as a chef, he's a great Dudgeon Master in our DnD games (or pathfinder) and he sold his bitcoin early on. The goal was take it easy with the drinking, but we popped a bottle of 10 year Bulleit Bourbon, and drank most of it. We talk about Dungeons and Dragons, he talks about his cooking journey, and he wants kids?! He's a great dude and I had a blast doing this. We also continued the fun afterwards, and decided to go full Hun and jump the neighbors fence to hang out with them too.

#39 Two Old Pirates with Nick Mamere AKA Landmaster

#39 Two Old Pirates with Nick Mamere AKA Landmaster

This week I catch up with an old friend who I met back from the, you guessed it, pizza pirate days of my youth. Nick is an intelligent and interesting dude, who's accomplishments include being a decent Smash Bros player, but also a professional brewer. More interestingly, is that he started off in a garage doing home brews, and stuck with it, improved himself and applied his knowledge and now gets paid for doing what he loves. AND he brought 3 of his brews to the podcast, which was a god damned treat. give it up for one rad dude, pop a homebrew, and enjoy suckas!!

#38 I’m actually 70

#38 I’m actually 70

My computer is dead, so I’m putting off the show until next week. SO, you guys get to hear me rant again!! This week I talk about how I’m a grumpy piece of shit with the full grumpiness of a 70 year old man. And I have the shit body of an old guy to boot. Home Depot can suck it! Should be back in action next week everyone!!!

#37 “Going Alum” with Andi the Meatball

#37 “Going Alum” with Andi the Meatball

This week I chat with Andi the Meatball. She’s a fun outgoing friendly lady I met through the bar. She’s from Benicia but left for a fee years and happily returned. We disagree on children, but agree on self growth. And I really hammer the point that I don’t know what the fuck “going alum” means. Also there’s a great b-hole quote.

#36 The First supporter with Jason Beldin and Anna

#36 The First supporter with Jason Beldin and Anna

This week Sit down with the original podcast supporter JB, he doesn't even like podcasts but supports people doing things they believe in which for me is even more meaningful. He's a guy I met many years ago at the old Pizza joint, and his ol' lady Anna Joined him on the podcast. I'm not smart and so was unable to set up her headset for the podcast, AND i screwed up the settings for the first 15 minutes so that's why JB is quite AND the jukebox turned on during the podcast, AND my computer almost died because it wasn't plugged in all the way. Other than everything technical going wrong, it was a great show, enjoy suckas, and cherish the memories of your brother waking up fully torqued naked.....

#36 Making Zombie Sauce With Shannon Bettencourt

#36 Making Zombie Sauce With Shannon Bettencourt

This week I sit down with fellow bartender and long time friend of mine Shannon Bettencourt. We talk about the differences of being a dude vs being a chick behind the bar and our high school scams. She keeps calculating for inflation, and the difference of moving 100 miles away from our hometown. Especially during covid. She also talk about her home made zombie sauce, it's made with some cheese I cant pronounce. And we both struggle throughout the podcast with coasters...

#35 Drinkin Dr Pepper, whatever the weather, with the Shazbot!!!

#35 Drinkin Dr Pepper, whatever the weather, with the Shazbot!!!

He’s the host of your LAN party, he don’t drink Bacardi, he’s back to the future just like Marty! He’s the fuckin’ Shazbot. We go down the road and reminisce on road trips, Lincoln town cars, and abusing our sober powers at the old pizza joint many years ago. He was the first tech wizard I ever met, and he had remained top tier through the years. We did this remotely, and I swore their wouldn’t be audio syncing issues, but there was a bit. I should have listened to Shazbot, because he’s definitely smarter than me. Hail the TKC. Real names can suck it. Tom, we are coming...

#34 "The Benicia Standoff" With Matt Decker

#34 "The Benicia Standoff" With Matt Decker

Matt Decker and I sit down an discuss the benefits of Benicia, how moving to Oakland was his safe choice, and if Kanye is the greatest composer of all time. He's a Tattoo artist, a father and a DM! He's a guy who came into the bar with cool hats, and a good attitude, and we hit it off quickly, originally because of our common interest in Dungeons and Dragons, but later on I began to enjoy him for his diverse and philosophical mindset. He grew up in a time when being a "nerd" was physically dangerous, where nowadays it helps you open a Vegan Chili café in Portland. This dude is awesome for a great many reasons, and we recorded about a third of our conversation that night. I had a great time, I hope you enjoy it suckas!

Check out his shop Premium Tattoo in Oakland, he's been there for over a decade.

#33 Trying out a live podcast. With Graham and Robert apparently!

#33 Trying out a live podcast. With Graham and Robert apparently!

This week I tried out a live podcast. Because why not. Did it go as if imagined, no. Was it interesting, I thought so. It was a nice experiment to see if anyone was interested. Graham and Robert called in. There was some reception issues. But I learned that the two know each other. And I learn Robert snd I know way more people I. Common than I ever could have thought. It’s a weird one. And Graham gets disconnected but Robert and I wind up talking about DND for a while. It showed me we’re all connected, and I should have him on a real episode. Also turns out my house is fine. Jennifer just lit the fireplace with the Flu closed and smoked out the house!

#32 From the Ashes, with Ryan Arden

#32 From the Ashes, with Ryan Arden

This week I catch up with an old friend who I recently got back in touch with. And we really dig deep into the power of transformation. He talks about his journey and why he left town, and the trials he's endured. And how far he's come, and how we can always grow and improve ourselves, even when there is no one to help you. He talks about the physical and mental changes he's gone through, and how happiness can be attained. It was really great to catch up, and it filled me with joy to see how far my friend has come over the years, enjoy dudes!! We did this one remotely, so  we had to reconnect once towards the end.

#31 WillDog podcast with special guest Mat Sting

#31 WillDog podcast with special guest Mat Sting

This week we flip it around, Bill Jones decides to turn the podcast around on me! He asks me about myself and runs the show as his own. Also he came with a big ass list of questions, and took notes based on my responses, which turned into new questions. If there's something I don't like, it's talking about myself so this was a good experience for me. I had a lot of fun, and it was an honor to be on the Will Dog show!

#30 Its just my knee with Jessica Beeching

#30 Its just my knee with Jessica Beeching

I sit down with Jessica, who I met through the bar. She's raced motorcycles, she builds old trucks, and she heals people! She's upfront and talks about her stance on contraception, injuries, and most importantly herm path towards healing others. She's a specialized message therapist who teaches me why she's not a "massuse" and how the knee bone is, or is not, connected to the neck bone. Featuring a special moment where I find out I know someone in her family mid podcast...

Not a podcast. RIP Jimmy

Not a podcast. RIP Jimmy

This isn’t an episode. It’s a short rant, on a friend of mine who died, this week I take a break and remember someone who i miss dearly that is no longer with us. Never forget those that lay the path or those that showed you how to succeed. I miss my friend, more than I can express... this is Iife it’s not all sunshine rainbows and podcasts, sometimes it’s reminiscent on old friends and memories.

#29 That's not my beer with Blake Sweatt

#29 That's not my beer with Blake Sweatt

Me and my man Blake sit down and talk about motorcycles, why you shouldn't sky dive and bars. He's from South Carolina and came out here to work in the cannabis industry, which he is excelling in. He likes fishing, napping at grandmas house, and smoking, but it better not be tobacco!

We tried to do this months ago, but mid podcast my equipment went to shit, which made me buy real equipment, so you can all thank Blake for the giant leap in audio quality!

#28 Hail to King Cobra, with Uncle Stanza aka Eric Costello

Me and Uncle Stanza get together and discuss being too tall, the problems of high school, and of course the king of malt liquor. He talks about saving babies for a living, the journey to get there and how a continuation school got him where he is today. And drops a bomb about our friend Jonus' relation to N2deep.  He's tall, he's fun, he's Eric Cost!!

#27 Finding Balance with LJ aka Joe Esteban

#27 Finding Balance with LJ aka Joe Esteban

My old friend and I hook up remotely because he lives in Japan, we talk about cultural differences, weird ramen flavors, stigma on alcohol and why he lives where he does. We also touch on some more personal things, from when he was younger and had some serious eating issues. The real beauty of this conversation is hearing him discuss how life is full of highs and lows, but our journey is really what makes us who we are. Grab a drink and give it up for LJ-San!!

#26 A rock and a hard place, with Verushcka Keating

#26 A rock and a hard place, with Verushcka Keating

I sit down with Veruschka and we discuss how we are both hard headed, often disagree, and yet frequently agree. She's someone who's never put up with my shit, and those types of people are few an far between. We talk about the Zodiac Killer, her job at a grocery store, and get a chance to express we appreciate one another, even though we hated each other when we first met!! Grab a pint, a shooter, and a cocktail and join us suckas...

#25 A bar close to the bus stop With Nizam Uddin Ahmed

#25 A bar close to the bus stop With Nizam Uddin Ahmed

I sit down with a wonderful friend i made through the bar, Nizam. He enjoys his blood orange IPA and his signature spot at the bars corner. He's calm and collected, and willing to talk to everyone, yet has no issue minding himself. (just don't call him Thomas) He's kind, and honest, and fortunately for me, our bar was close to the bus stop. In this episode he drops some history lessons about his home Bangladesh, his journey to the states, and the time he bumped into a tiger. I had a great time getting to know him more personally during this, and it continues to prove the essence of the podcast. The world is full of wonderful people, you just need to talk to them!!!

#24 On the front lines with Sam Deseve

#24 On the front lines with Sam Deseve

I sit down with an amazing woman who works in the trenches every day with the sick and the dying. In a normal day this is a just and admirable cause, however its doubly so in the age of Covid. We talk about the virus, the vaccine, pros and cons, and her daily struggle. Then in a strange turn of events we connect on a topic familiar to me, that I've avoided discussing on the podcast so far. It really goes to show that just talking to people that you already know, can yield the most interesting topics. She's tough, she's progressed a long way, she's Sam Ya Dig!! enjoy!

#23 Fuck them Monkeys! with Greg Daniell

#23 Fuck them Monkeys! with Greg Daniell

This week I sit down with an amazing man named Greg. I met him haphazardly, he smokes, he rides motorcycles, he's always 100% himself. Hilarious? yes. Sometimes inappropriate? Fuck yeah!
He's traveled the world, seen many cultures, and has plenty of stories. Now he's retired but not like most people. He's out riding his motorcycle, rolling cigs and smokin joints, and drinking plenty of coffee. Enjoying his time and life, not dilapidating on the couch. And he tells a fantastic story at the end. Enjoy dudes!!!

#20 A path less traveled with just Cory

#20 A path less traveled with just Cory

Beard, check. Long Hair, check. Overly positive perspective on enjoying life because it is fickle and death is imminent, check! Me and my man Cory sit down and cover ground. Here's a guy I met through a friend, and we have like interests, but more interestingly, we have found completely separate paths, only to come to the same conclusions about things like happiness, self worth, and life. There's much to be learned from the hard lessons of life, and self reflection is inherently difficult,  but it is powerful. And psychedelics may just be the key. Sure they are currently illegal where we reside,  but at one time so was alcohol, birth control, and interracial marriage. If something exists than can open your mind, change your narrow perspective, help you with your self worth and image, and PTSD, it's time to reconsider its legal standing. Enjoy suckas!! And remember "use drugs responsibly"

She runs 2 businesses, she's a mom, shes a wife,  she's a friend, she's an absolute complete and total bad ass... I met her 13 years ago, and then, and now, she has always had the capability to destroy me. She's a killing machine, who runs businesses, raises a kid, and still finds ways to eat pizza and have fun. She can teach you how to save money, get in shape, seriously hurt people, and live a full throttle happy life. I wish I could spread her message to the whole world, because what she does, teaches, and practices, the whole world could benefit from her wisdom.

#18 Black out when able with Graham Phleps

Graham is back, and we played a horrible game where we take shots every fifteen minutes. For the love of god do not follow along. I think its the drunkest I've ever been. And Graham brought a breathalyzer so we could track the progress of our terrible decisions. We go down the rabbit hole from aviation to bars and always back to star wars.  Special intro from some one we'll call "Derek".Its a wild ride, grab a drink and listen up, but don't drink like we did, it might actually kill you.

#14 Just me, with Mat Sting

I had a critical failure with this weeks podcast, and so I've had to reschedule for another recording in the future. In the mean time, this is me talking about myself for a bit. some insight to my mind, some opinions on death and happiness, and then I talk about my cars for a while. #13 Mario Kart PTSD with Toby Williams

#13 Mario Kart PTSD with Toby Williams

I finally get Toby behind the mic and it was amazing! He fracks islands in Animal Crossing, he hates tent cities  (especially the fucking solar panels)

He likes beer and whiskey, and oh yeah, hes a combat vet. He's kind, hes calm, he's easy going, until you go shooting with him, or even worse, play Mario Kart! Fighting for our freedoms and risking his life with 70% expected casualties on a mission? No big deal. But drop that Nintendo 64 controller in his hands and shit gets SERIOUS!! Also Andrew creeps in the background and fills the shoes of my "Young Jamie". Grab a drink, you're gonna need it.....

#12 Master of the Craft, with Lindsie Christman

#12 Master of the Craft, with Lindsie Christman

She's the OG of the bar. The Mother Hen, the Queen Bee, the glue that binds us. She's put in almost 20 years at our beautiful establishment. Before Covid, before food, before the remodel, before beer on tap, before smoking was banned, she was there. At 5 years in, she makes me look like its my first day. She's learned a trick or 12, can fill the bar with the snap of her fingers, and is the definition of working smarter not harder. Some call her Cow-Girl, some call her meat smuggler. But everyone knows Lindsie! Grab a drink, and listen as the master and the apprentice talk it out for a couple hours!!
