1000 Hours Outside with Ginny Yurich
Ginny, along with her husband Josh, are the proud parents of five children ages 12 and under, residing in Southeast Michigan. Throughout their journey of parenthood, they consistently observed city, county, and state parks, as well as trails, campsites, and natural landscapes in general, being nearly devoid of children most of the time. About five years ago, they embarked on a simple but thought-provoking question: "Why is this the case?" With an abundance of natural beauty surrounding them, they found it counterintuitive that these outdoor spaces remained empty.
With the question of "why" still unanswered, Ginny and Josh conducted research and discovered that encouraging children to spend 4-6 hours outdoors in a day was considered an ideal amount of time. Initially, this seemed excessive, especially given that most children's activities typically last an hour or less, such as library programs. However, they decided to give it a try. The results were remarkable. Ginny, Josh, and their children haven't looked back. Their most memorable family moments, and Ginny's most successful moments as a mother, consistently revolve around these fully immersive nature days. Over time, they have uncovered a multitude of benefits stemming from these wonderful outdoor experiences.

BH S2E5 - Your Personal Style with Delee Cox
Part two of our conversation with the wonderful Delee Cox! This week, she breaks down the process of developing your own personal style.
Delee Cox:
Born and raised in Washington State, I have always been inspired by beauty and fashion. I turned my passion into a career when I graduated from cosmetology school in 2003. I then met my California dream boat, my husband of 18 years, and together we moved across the country and back finally landing in Utah.
After 13 years of being at home with my children I decided I wanted to go back to work and realized my passion had changed from styling hair to styling head to toe. I embraced the motto "just go for it!" and started my business at the beginning of 2020.
My knowledge and passion came from my own experience of having a closet full of clothes but always wanting more, and my transition from fast fashion shopping addict to slow fashion advocate. I now I have helped hundreds of women all over the country discover their personal style and turn their closet full of clothes into a curated wardrobe.
I currently reside in Utah with my husband, four children and two cats. I love cardio aerobics, hiking in the mountains, and I desperately miss the beach.

About Evan and Susan Money:
We both come from normal dysfunctional families, raise your hand if you can relate : ) When we first got married our starry eyed quest was to live happily ever after and bring each others dreams to life. We drove junky cars and lived in a postage stamp sized rental house. In-spite of all this we decided to have faith and dream big, we set a goal to get remarried in a different state or country every year. With lot’s of prayer, action and creativity, we have been married over 20 times and yes we have had more than 20 honeymoons! Our story has been featured in media outlets around the world, but this is just the beginning of our story…

Determined and a desperate, she stepped into the unknown. She discovered 3 major parenting gaps and they all had to do with the traditions we have in our lives.
Learning these gaps enabled her to swing her depression to the curb and raise 4 emotionally healthy and confident kids of her own.
Now a parenting Coach herself she helps other parents know how to help their kids thrive in a way that leaves parents feeling energized too.
