I went through a very short chapter in which I lost my power! Have you ever lost yours? It's not fun, take my word.

I went on a quest to understand why I was allowing this to happen, why I was reacting the way I did, and why I was closing myself off. The lessons I extracted from this chapter were EXTREMELY valuable and insightful. I couldn’t be more excited about the new chapter that I’ve just started to write!

In today's episode, Maria discusses one of the most reliable ways to check the health of your thyroid and whether you have a slow or normal metabolism. You can do it inexpensively, from home, and without a doctor's prescription.

We feel comfortable when whatever we feel is backed up by lab testing. When it comes to the thyroid, it's not unusual for those experiencing symptoms of hypothyroidism to confused and lost because results aren't supporting their symptoms. That's called a 'sub-clinical hypothyroid' condition.  

Our bodies do an amazing job showing us when things aren't doing well. We must listen. We must take note. At that point, supported by labs or not, we are able to take better steps to improve our health and life.
