Episode 4: Financing A Home
Michael Swiger, with Triangle Lending Group, joined Ben at his favorite bar and bottle shop in North Raleigh, The Hop Yard, this week to discuss all that goes into financing the purchase of a home.
Michael helps break down the understanding of pre-approved vs pre-qualified, debunks the myth that you have to put 20% down in order to buy a home and explains low interest rates.
Episode 3: The Buying Process - From First Contact to Close
In this episode, Ben discusses the process he takes a buyer through when looking to purchase a home while highlighting one of his favorite local businesses - Peak of the Vine in downtown Apex. Lawrence, general manager of Peak of the Vine, joined Ben to talk about the friendly atmosphere of their wine lounge, the educational wine tastings and their large selection of wines from around the world.
From there, Ben talks about the approach he takes with clients, specifically buyers, from the moment they first connect to the day they close on their new home and beyond. Most importantly, Ben talks about how important every client is to him. Whether it's their first home or their tenth home, he knows that each one is special and therefore it should be a fun and exciting process, not a stressful one.

Episode 1: Get to know Ben
In his first episode, Ben sits down to discuss, well, himself. Hear about how he got into real estate, what he likes to do in his free time and some other fun facts about his background. Rumor has it he grew up on a huge farm in Delaware and used to show sheep at the fair when he was a kid. Guess you'll have to listen to find out!
