Sometimes it’s easier said than done when it comes to strong emotions. But we can overcome or should I say become more comfortable with overwhelming emotions especially if they are ones that you feel often. New ones can be tricky as the mind/body has to find new ways to process them.

We are all different when it comes to going through strong emotions.

What works for me is immediately observing, feeling and talking myself through them. But also expressing them.

Is it someone close to me, is it an environment, is it an escape from something that is draining. Whatever it maybe, express it. Meaning vocally or by craft go through it with yourself or someone, or in an another form.

However, remember this is a process, give yourself time there is no rush, it’s just exploring these held deeper emotions from the past and releasing any current resentment that you may have picked up in your present day.

Stage two can be one of the most challenging, can feel tense. But once done, you’ll feel lighter, you’ll feel a great sense of freedom within the body and mind.
