THE BREWERS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS AND ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN! Ryan and Olivia are both in a great mood to say that the Brewers are in the playoffs, and start by discussing the rocky road that got them into the postseason. They touch on the injuries that built up during the weekend and also the few bright spots there were during the week. The bums then of course have to talk about the Wild Card Series and what to expect within the next three days. The first thing that is covered in this weeks episode is news from around the league (1:20). Ryan and Olivia talk about the Cardinals continuing to screw the league with positive Corona tests, and the Astros bench clear. Then they go into some news regarding the Brewers (8:24). The Bums continue on into reviewing last weeks series (12:22), also they both get in their feels about missing Eric Thames (26:12). Moving on is a series preview and a look at the match ups for the week ahead (28:14). The last topic is something that needed to be talked about, which is what underrated players have kept the Brewers afloat so far this year (34:46). With Ryan Braun being out, Lorenzo Cain opting out, and Christian Yelich and other starts slumping, there have been a few guys that should get praise for keeping the Brewers around .500 so far. The episode starts off with Ryan and Olivia recapping the past weekend in baseball, which wasn't to kind for the Brewers (0:34). After running on several tangents they move onto reviewing the the Pirates series (9:02). They talk about highlights such as Brandon Woodruff's gem of a start, and Babe Gamel. The Bums then move into a small rant about the Joe Kelley suspension, and discuss whether it was intentional or unintentional (12:05).
