Best Friends' Playbook

First up! Aly apologizes to your ears! When recording she was fixing something on her mic and turned the dial the wrong way and WELP- her mic is blown out and that's why she sounds like she's underwater. Apologizes, she fixed it as best as she could in editing. Now for the show notes: OMG we both want to go back to Paris so badly! This show is gorgeous and filmed entirely in Paris. You can get anecdotes from our travels to Paris, along with SPOILERS-- WTF are Emily and Gabriel thinking? Also why does Camille keep telling them to hang out? Things are really complicated with this friendship! And special shoutout to Mindy in this episode because Emily wouldn't survive in Paris without her, and uhh will they still be living together in S2? We'll see. Wrapping up Part 2 with the dynamic duo that is Tyrion & Bronn however, as funny as their friendship is, it's rather upsetting how it turns out but definitely not as heartbreaking as the true bond between Daenerys & Jorah. Crystal and Aly also have another mini -very mini- rant about some things that appeared in the last season. You learn our favorite friendship out of the four to wrap up this 2 part episode. IT'S FINALLY HERE! And this is only Part 1 ya'll. Also, there are lots and lots of spoilers. Nothing goes untouched. So much so that yes we discuss these two friendships in part 1, but Aly goes off on a tangent about her theory on how she thinks religion works in the GoT world and then Crystal shares all the feelings about the ending and the last 2 seasons. This episode is full of random tangents about too much fame and money, Jack Black's movie The School of Rock among other things LOL. But truthfully, it's another good episode about the movie Perks of Being a Wallflower and you get lots of fun anecdotes about when Crystal & Aly were in high school and how we relate to these characters. This is one of Aly's favorite movies and she definitely felt like Rory Gilmore giving a class presentation talking super fast from all the coffee compared to the type of notes that Crystal takes LOL.

Oh dear dear dear... This was suppose to be the Premiere episode of S3, but Aly had some technical issues after recording and well, here we are with a second recording HAHA. We really love this show. It's a hard and intense topic they cover in this show, but we feel they did such a good job showing everyone's side of the story and how awful and complicated it all really is. However, we focus mainly on the friendship of Alex & Chip in this episode. The main event of the show clearly affects their friendship and causes havoc on everything and everyone and forcing these two to decide between their friendship and career.

This is a friendship of two girls trying to find their place in high school and not fitting in, and especially for Christine trying on new things, hobbies, and friendships, boys just to see what works and figuring it all out. But when doing that you can hurt your true friends along the way. This story is definitely more about Christine finding herself and escaping her hometown. We also discuss a Christine's relationship with her mother, as they are not friends like Lorelai and Rory, but it's a huge part to how Christine treats people around her and figuring out who she is.

This is one of Crystal's favorite movies and Aly had no idea what was she getting into! It's a fun, unexpected satire on WWII from a young boy's perspective. Crystal originally wanted to discuss Jojo's friendship with his imaginary hitler but we both realized the main friendship was truly between Jojo & Elsa and how two people have very different points of views of each other (especially JoJo's POV of Elsa!!) but, survival forces these two to come together and realize they're the only family they have left.
