Eagles have a short week with a Sunday and a Thursday game against the Steelers and the Texans respectively. Despite the short week, the Eagles stay dominant and move to 8-0 on the season. The Commanders start to go on a mini streak as they start out 2-4 and win 2 games they weren't expected to and get back into the playoff race. The Caps suffer injuries upon injuries upon injuries and you see the toll it has taken on the team as they struggle to catch their footing. The Flyers also start to show their true colors as they spend most of games in the defensive zone and see the lack of offensive talent. The Phillies look to bounce back as they drop 2 straight to fall to 3-2 in the World series after the Astros pitching finds the footing on the Phillies offense.
Washington surprises Green Bay | Caps at .500 | Flyers rolling | Phillies advance to World Series
Washington comes out and surprises the NFL with a win over the Packers who look to no longer be the same team they used to be. Eagles come off by trying to keep the undefeated streak alive against Pittsburgh. Caps start off at .500 with a lackluster defense hurting the team. Flyers come out rolling and start out at the top of the division early. Phillies close out the Padres in 5 and head to the World Series and continue the underdog story trying to beat the Astros.

The Eagles take it to the Cowboys and dominate to stay undefeated. The Commanders win a painful game over the Bears in primetime. Flyers shock the NHL and start out 3-1 on the season while the Caps start with an 0-2 and get up to a 2-2 start. Phillies beat the Braves against all odds and advance to the NLCS while going to Philly tied 1-1.

We talk about the rough loss that the Commanders suffered against the Titans. Eagles out last a close game in Arizona to remain perfect going into their Sunday night matchup against the Cowboys. The NHL is underway and we talk about the Caps opening game and the low expectations that we have from the Flyers. Lastly, we discuss the sweep of the Cardinals in the wildcard and head to Atlanta for the divisional and go to game 3 tied 1-1.

We go through the way that the Eagles overtook that game along with taking a look at week 4 matchups. Phillies going into the playoffs continue to struggle offensively and the Brewers peaking through the playoff doors. NHL preseason begins with a couple players making some good marks, but yet to see anything big.

Week 2 of the NFL comes and goes as the Lions take advantage of the Commanders early struggle and take a win in Detroit. The Eagles come out in a tough game against the Vikings on MNF and show they could be a team to mess with as they totally shut down the Vikings. The Phillies endure a tough week as they struggle again in a week against a division rival. Flyers get news of two major injuries that could sideline two game changing players.

Eagles sign a big need late in free agency. The Caps fall to the Panthers as we talk about the ending of the first round and discuss the matchups in the second round of the playoffs.
