Suduwol school needs help

Suduwol school needs help

Dakar has problem with horse carts and Why did the plane land in Belarus?
Ryanair flight FR4978 was travelling from the Greek capital, Athens, to Vilnius in Lithuania on Sunday afternoon.
Passengers said the journey had been calm and the plane had begun its gradual descent to Vilnius when it made an abrupt change of course.

Suduwol School ex-Students launch initiative to give back to their Alma mater.

A group of former students around the world have launched a new initiative that targets renovating the classrooms, toilets, furniture and fencing the perimeter of the community’s Basic Cycle and Senior Secondary school. Presently, the school has around 600 pupils from different villages.

Recently, some of our members visited the school. During the visit, they saw first-hand the struggle for adequate furniture. The chairs and tables were broken and incomplete and are just not enough for all the children. That, as you would imagine is not the best environment for learning.

We believe, every child should be kept safe, especially in their learning environment. A surrounding fence will secure the children and prevent unwanted visitors as well as animals from trespassing on the school premises. And this will make a huge difference to their learning experience in school.

We may all agree that; education is one of the most important tools we can use to empower our children, communities, societies and the world at large, for this reason, as ex-students we took it upon ourselves to seek support from the natives, fellow former students and friends of the community in order to elevate the present deplorable conditions of the school. And reassure the community that we are fully motivated and promised them our willingness to work with them for the longer future and the betterment of humanity.

The most promising path to social mobility is through quality education.
Your generous support can be a profound impact on the younger generation.

Palestinian War

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced the ceasefire and a statement from the security cabinet called the truce "mutual and unconditional".
Hamas said the truce would begin at 2am on Friday (midnight UK time), but Israel has not yet confirmed the time.
The breakthrough came a day after US President Joe Biden called for a "significant de-escalation" and a path to a ceasefire, and followed mediation bids by Egypt, Qatar and the UN.
At least 230 Palestinians have been killed in the fighting, according to Gaza health officials, while 12 in Israel have died.
