What's Going On ? Episode
What is going on? edition. Is it us or is it them that don't get it? Is it the best of times or the worst of times? Does money grow on trees? Has the governments of Canada and the USA been complacent in creating wealth or destroying it?
BORDERPOL JOURNAL March 18, 2024 S3 Ep9
Thomas Tass and Robert Dunlop discuss the ongoing distrust of information being disseminated by a supine media which becomes Orwellian when it acts as an echo chamber for the political elite in the G7. They act like a Cohort of Thieves that suggest day in and day out that the national economy is great.
That crime is down when it is not. That Democracy is strong when it is under attack. That Freedom of speech is alive and well when government censorship is on the rise.
That inclusiveness, diversity and equity brings brilliant results that serves everyone without any negative impact on anyone.
All the while food banks cannot keep up with demand, millions cannot afford proper housing, stores are closing because robbery and street crime has made sniveling politicized cowards out of the leadership of many in the law enforcement community.
Our social cohesion and our economic well is under terrible stress. The current leadership in the G7 is deeply disliked by the majority of people across the political spectrum. This year many election will see the dismissal of most of them and the future will be in the hands of new leadership that will find the people angry and broke.
How the new leadership will handle that reality will be next weeks discussion.

When established communities are up ended through flash changes to its economy, traditions and racial makeup trouble follows.
This is precisely what has been accelerated through the deliberate introduction of open borders in traditional migrant welcoming societies by a cabal of political elitists and their leftist social engineers in academia.

The "Everything is Broken" episode. Season 2 Episode 29
The Above our Paygrade Episode
Its the middle of summer and the news ranges from bizarre to the questionable . Bob Dunlop and I went from commenting on the bizarre views of a Canadian professor on the need to display adult genitals to minors to the questionable demands of one country - the United States - to reveal the personal data of citizens held by another country - in this case Hungary. The content of news produced by the media in North America appears to be designed either titillate for bait clicks or obfuscate for political purposes. Neither is to objectively inform.

End of Month Report from the BORDERPOL JOURNAL
Two items to conclude July 2022 from the BORDERPOL JOURNAL
Volodymyr Zelensky is not all he's portrayed as by Western media and why is the United States blundering into trouble with China?
Let’s start with the commentary of a very brave fellow, Sky News host and journalist Cory Bernardi from Australia said this a few days ago He said this “everything we are told, about the Russia Ukraine conflict should be taken with a huge dose of salt.”
Talk about swimming upstream!
Mr. Bernardi opines that if you believe the media spin that Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky is akin to second coming of Winston Churchill, the big savior of Western democracy then you may well be mistaken.
Now for the other “end of July” question.
Why is Ms. Pelosi Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives hell bent on going to the Republic of China - also known as Taiwan - at this moment in time? The last time an American of her rank went to ROC was 25 years ago.
Could it be that Taiwan, the worlds largest producer of computer chips is of specific interest to her? Or perhaps her husband Paul Francis Pelosi Sr. who owns and operates a venture capital investment and consulting firm and recently made news selling millions of dollars worth of NVIDIA stock ahead of the CHIP’s bill vote in Congress.
There is no mention of an official invitation from the Republic of China for her visit. In Google search just for fun type “What government official invited Ms. Pelosi to visit Taiwan?”
Special Canada Edition July 22, 2022
Bob and Tom discuss the ArriveCan app, the backlog of visas, the decline of service to Canadians, the trouble with NEXUS card issuing and the overall relationship between Canada and U.S. when reciprocity is an issue.
Why are so many things just not working out these days?
This is the first of a series of snippet essays delving into the world of the Wishful Thinkers.
Wikipedia defines wishful thinking “as the formation of beliefs based on what might be pleasing to imagine, rather than on evidence, rationality, or reality. It is a product of resolving conflicts between belief and desire.”
When national and international leaders move away from rationality, reality-based decisions, or fact-based sciences they become a club of “Wishful Thinkers”.
