We talk about the places we camped along the way, the eating locations, and the local joints that are places to stop. Everyone should at least try to ride the nations longest single rail trail.
Episode 31 - The Bad Lands & Mickelson Trail - South Dakota
This is a recent ride for Jerry and we review a bit about cycling around the South Dakota Bad Lands as well as a 3 day trip on the George S. Mickelson Trail. If you aren't familiar with the Mickelson, this is a 108.8 mile rail trail that runs from Deadwood, SD to Edgemont, SD from North to South in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. Don't sleep on this trail folks, it is a beauty.

A 2 day adventure with Jerry as he bikepacked across MIssouri in September 2021 for charity. Lizzy's Walk of Faith Foundation raises money each year, and since we know the family that founded this non-profit, it is a great opportunity to raise money for a good cause. Jerry has always had a heart for raising money for good causes when he can combine it with cycling, so this was a perfect chance to combine both. With a facebook campaign he set off riding from the Kansas border at Stateline road all the way to Hannibal, MO and the Mississippi River.

One of the oldest and largest cycling events in the nation is the Hotter'n Hell Hundred down in Wichita Falls, TX.
