3 Steps on How To Build A Career Online [WORKING]
Hello and welcome to today's episode of The Brand Marketing podcast and today, I'll be sharing with you the secret steps on how you can build a career online.
Before you listen to the episode on how to build an online career, I’d like to share a few quick thoughts:
- You only need a laptop. Maybe you’ll need a camera and microphone if you want to create videos, but that’s not even necessary. Everything I share in this podcast episode works if you want to make money from home or any other place.
- It’s never too late. Sure, it was better if you started on Instagram in 2013. It was better if you started on Twitter in 2008. And so forth. These are all excuses and bullshit reasons to not take action. The best day to start anything new is TODAY!
- There are certainly no “schemes.” If there were secret blueprints to making millions, they would remain secret. If I had a secret way to make a lot of money, I would keep it secret. That’s the truth.
- Get rich quick doesn’t happen. If you look hard enough, you’ll probably find a few people who built an app in 24 hours and became rich. But I wouldn’t count on that. But you already knew that. So adjust your expectations.
- What works for me, might not work for you. And vice versa. So don’t just listen to a single person. Instead, take in the information and think about how you can apply it to yourself.
- This is not a “Top 10 freelance online jobs that will make you rich” type of episode. Those podcasts are useless. Instead of finding jobs, build a career. I’ll talk about that in Step 1.
That’s it. You certainly can build an online career. If the thought ever came up, it means you probably have it in you and can initially start it off as a side hustle. So, Let’s get started.
Key Takeaway
There are a lot of misconceptions about building a career — online or offline. The number one reason there’s so much bullshit advice on the internet is that we’re impatient.
I’m no different. I’d love to come up with an idea today, work on it tomorrow, and launch it the day after. Also, it would be great if a million people were excited about whatever I launched.
That doesn’t happen. But it’s fine. If you play it right, you can have a long career.

Anatomy of a Great Instagram Caption | How to Write a Good Caption on Instagram
Hello and Welcome to today's episode of The Brand Marketing Podcast and today, we'll discuss how to write a good caption on Instagram. So let's get started!
Is it worth it to write captions?
Maybe focusing on the images is enough. People are on Instagram for the pretty pictures anyway, right? That’s what’s going to get them to double-tap to like.
But are likes what you’re really after?
Why are you on Instagram? If it’s for the likes, fine, but if you want to use Instagram to make deeper connections with your audience and sell more so that you can keep helping people through your business — well, then likes aren’t enough.
So, first off... you must realize that Inspiring engagement isn’t easy. It’s hard enough to get people to double-tap to like, how can you get people to comment, share, and save. In reality, The picture needs to stop the reader from scrolling, but it’s the caption that is going to really capture your audience and let you make a meaningful connection with them.
Make an emotional connection
The next time you post on Instagram, think about How do you want your audience to respond? Now write a message to go alongside your image (a caption). Be sure to Start with an emotional connection, then share something practical, and end with the mindset shift that you want them to remember.
Are you ready to try?

How to Apply the 5 Whys to Marketing & Make Most of Your Marketing Campaign
Hello and welcome to the brand marketing podcast and today, we would be discussing about a major question: applying whys to marketing!!!
As stupid as it may sound, the five whys is an actual business theory mainly used in the supply chain department. To many people’s surprise, it is quite efficient in discovering problems within a process in the organization itself.
So, Can It Be Applied to Marketing?
To be honest, it can be applied to anything — this is why it’s so efficient. However, there are certain rules that you need to obey in order to make the most of it.
So, Why five whys?
Well in most cases, by the fifth why you will get the answer you were looking for. This does not mean that you are obligated to use exactly five — you can use two or three depending on the desired answer that you want to get.
If you are pleased with the answer you got on the third why, you can stop there. If you reached the fifth why and you are not happy with the answer, then keep going, but in most cases, five should get you there.
For eg, let’s take a scenario where Apple losing market shares in the first two quarters of 2019. By applying the five whys, we want to dig down and see the source for the loss of market shares. So let’s give it a try.

The Importance of Emotions in UX Design
Hello and welcome to today's episode of The Brand Marketing Podcast and today we'll be discussing why emotions play an important role in UX Design and how they touch that factor of emotional design in building solutions.
Our human brain is an amazingly complex system, which acts as a processor that consumes, stores, processes, and reacts effortlessly. We humans, judge products by experiences that are related to our emotions. As an old saying goes in the User Experience (UX) world, “Interaction with any product produces an experience (emotion) whether it had UX or not.”
UX design considers how a user interacts with and responds to an interface, service or product. That response is an emotion.
We'll be covering various aspects of emotional design and relationship of emotions with our brain, tech and trust factor.
Remember, Humans keep emotions and emotions keep the experiences alive

How to Overcome Buyer Uncertainty & Get a YES in Sales
Welcome to today's episode of The Brand Marketing Podcast and in this episode, we'll be talking about How to Overcome Buyer Uncertainty and Remove that final obstacle to getting a sale
Anyone who has been in sales for any length of time will be familiar with the phrase, “I need to think about it.”
Let me tell you if not already know it. This is the get out of jail card for the prospect. It lets them get away without making a commitment and it is something you want to block quickly and efficiently. Closing sales more often relies on being able to deal with this tactic, and leaving the prospect with no other option but to buy!
The prospect usually thinks that they can just throw it out there, and then walk away. And if you are not prepared, then that is probably just what they will do.
However, if you have got your challenges ready and can immediately bounce back and force them to try and justify their objection, it will put them in an awkward position of not wanting to be self-contradictory. Then, you can tighten the net and move them towards the close.
Let’s look at three great sales strategies for dealing with this objection.

Is Twitter the Next Snapchat?
Is Twitter Becoming The New Snapchat?
Coming up straight from the newsreels, Twitter recently announced Fleets, a 24-hour post segment similar to Instagram and Snapchat stories.
In their announcement, Twitter stated that users will be more willing to share their feelings through Fleets since the message will disappear after a day. Twitter is rolling out a test in Brazil first, a country with a high number of active Twitter users. They’re testing how the feature is used by Tweeters in that location and if it goes well, we may see Fleets available in every country later this year.
Similar to Instagram and Snapchat stories, users will not be able to like or retweet Fleets Given that Instagram and Snapchat are visual platforms, and Twitter is more text-based, it will be interesting to see how the Fleets are utilized.
Listen to my latest podcast on this update and learn how can marketers benefit from Fleets.
