Mica is the definition of educator. He is a guidance counselor at Winget Park Elementary in Charlotte, NC. He has also been coaching track and field for the past 16 years. He was the first coach in York County to have a women's 4x100 state championship while at Rock Hill High and did the same the following year at Northwestern High. He has had numerous SC 4A and 5A all state qualifiers and State Champions. In this interview we talk about his entry into sports, also what led him to begin coaching and his overall philosophy on coaching. It is an insightful interview from one of the best coaches in the state of SC.
