Two Poms in a Pod
Happy Tuesday Bff’s! This week Erin and Jordan sit down with Nicolette Peloquin and Alicia Capone! Both women are former New England Patriots Cheerleaders, but beyond the poms, Nicolette is a middle school special education guidance counselor and Alicia is a physical therapist. After 2 amazing seasons on the team, the ladies weren’t quite done with cheer. They were looking to mentor aspiring pro cheerleaders and were inspired to create a coaching business helping candidates present their best self on paper in their resume, cover letter, and photo submissions. A League of Our Own
Hey BFF’s! This week Jordan and Erin sat down with, Marissa Clark, founder of the Pro Dance League to discuss her dance journey and what she is currently up to! Marissa details her passion project and why she felt the need to create an event such as the first-ever Pro Dance Convention, which is taking place this weekend (April 23-April 25)! Breaking Formation is so excited to be in attendance and will be joining the virtual convention on day one at 11 am PST and 2 pm EST. This episode is all about female empowerment and girls supporting girls! As always listen to the end to hear how Marissa is breaking formation and enjoy!

Along with being a supportive military wife and mother of two, Kayla pursued her professional dance dreams after moving to a new state and even established the first-ever children’s dance program at Ft. On this week’s episode the ladies host Simmone Miller, a former Golden State Warriors dancer, and owner of Simmawear! Jordan and Erin catch up with the woman behind the brand and listen to her journey from dancer to entrepreneur. After spontaneously changing life paths, Simmone founded Simmawear, a pro dance audition wear brand. Listen to hear Simmone break down her approach to training aspiring pro dancers and how she arrived at where she is in life today!
The Truth Behind the Pomcast
Speaking out on hot topics is never easy but on this week's episode, the ladies have their long-awaited interview with Mhkeeba Pate, host of Pro Cheerleading Podcast, to do just that. Mhkeeba shares her journey balancing life as a mother, lawyer, and professional cheerleader as a Seattle Seahawks Seagal and how she now uses her platform to shed light on the behind-the-scenes issues of the industry. Not to mention her amazing response on how she has continuously broken formation throughout it all. The Positivity Corner Talks Auditions
On this segment of the Positivity Corner, Erin and Jordan talk the ins and outs of auditions with their former teammate Kaitlin Brooks! The ladies spill the tea on what auditions are really like, what to wear, and if having “the look” is a make or break. Plus the trio answers questions straight from the BFF’s! And the forever daunting question “panties or no panties” will be answered.

On this week’s episode Jordan and Erin host two of their former Gold Rush teammates, Gabriela and Yvonne, to talk about their transition from cheerleaders to mothers. The ladies discuss pregnancy journeys, birthing stories, body confidence postpartum, and how they balance motherhood and their professional careers. Erin also drops some huge news she has been eagerly waiting to tell the BFF gang!

Jordan and Erin shift gears during this week’s interview with Justine Menter: founder of MNTR MGMT, a training, and mentorship program for professionals in the commercial dance industry. Justine dives deep into her experience as a dancer in Los Angeles, from auditioning, to finding self-confidence, to this new age of social media and what aspiring commercial dancers need to know. This week Jordan and Erin chat with Jenna Lai, a former Raiderette cheerleader and Facebook recruiting coordinator, who opens up about her time as an NFL cheerleader. Jenna speaks on her experience dealing with injuries throughout her three seasons as well as the highs and lows throughout her entire journey.
Sarah Speaks On It
Erin and Jordan get to know Sarah Norris, a former pro dancer whose diverse background took her across the country during her time dancing for the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Mavericks, and Miami Dolphins. She has a unique perspective working with so many different organizations and the three share a few laughs recalling funny and favorite memories. Sarah also opens the conversation to some of the not so glamorous realities of professional cheerleading. Jordan and Erin sit down with Natalie Kirkland, their former teammate, and discuss her experience dancing professionally in the AFL, NFL, and now within the LA dance scene.
