Stress. Anxiety. Worry. Overwhelm.
These are words I hear EVERY DAY from my clients.
They're things I often feel too.
Not only can they make us feel stuck in life, but they accelerate the aging process, can be a contributing factor to acne, & can lead to some incredibly challenging health concerns such as auto-immunity, heart disease, & cancer.
We can't hack our way to optimal health or fabulous looking skin if we neglect to get our stress in check.
While some cases of overwhelm can lead to anxiety and depression that needs professional help, for more mild cases there are definitely things we can do each day (or as often as we feel the need) that can bring us back into a place of peace and calm.
For many people I know & work with, tendencies towards perfectionism, workaholism, people pleasing, control "enthusiasm", and deep seated feelings of inadequacy can lead to a level of keeping busy as a distraction that leads to stress & burnout. I hope some of my tips help.
