Episode 3: Indians for Trump?

Episode 3: Indians for Trump?

Biden won the election, but in 2020, Indians still voted for Trump. What was the draw? And did Democratic Indian turnout help critical races such as the Georgia run-off? On this episode, we talk about how persuasive the Trump politics were to the Indian population, Trump's similarities to Modi, and how critical Indian run political organizations were to making a difference for the election cycle of 2020.

Our first guest speaker is Anisha Sircar, a journalist with Scroll. To read more of her reporting you can find her at https://scroll.in/author/19229

Our second guest speaker is Sangeeta Ramakrishnan, a volunteer with They See Blue. You can follow her at @SangeetaRama. To learn more about They See Blue, you can find them at https://www.theyseeblue.com or at @theyseeblue

We also want to highlight two other organizations: https://votefwd.org/ & https://www.techforcampaigns.org/ that you can continue to volunteer with ahead of the 2022 election cycle to keep the momentum going!
