Ep 15 - Cheri Hammons Part 2 - Herbs and herbal lore for sleep and dreams, dream journaling, predictive dreams, and using dreams for business.
Cheri Hammons is the owner of High Street Tonics, herb nerd, and lover of sleep and dreams.
Join us as we continue the conversation about sleep and dream herbs, as well as the power of predictive dreams, and dreams that boost your business.
Please note that this conversation was recorded on location at the High Street Tonics headquarters and there is a loss of audio quality in the second half of the episode.

Follow on Instagram at @highstreettonics for fun and educational facts, recipes, cocktail and mocktail tips, and more. Herbs that can help support/promote a restful state and good sleep:
- Chamomile
- Passionflower
- Valerian
- Skullcap
- Lemon Balm
- Lavender
- Hops
- Catnip
Sleep Tincture Recipe:
--In a pint jar, combine 10 grams of each: dried skullcap, passionflower, hops, and valerian. --Cover with alcohol, at least 80 proof (40%) --Let sit out of direct sunlight for 4-6 weeks giving the jar a good shake every couple of days. --Use cheesecloth to strain the herbs out when done and bottle the liquid into amber (or other UV protected) dropper bottles.
Dosage: Take 1 dropperful an hour before bed or upon waking in the night. Can use up to 2 dropperfuls at a time but start small while you get to know how your body responds. Notes: Britt has been using this sleep tincture since the time of the recording. She has found it especially useful to help get back to sleep after awakening in the middle of the night or even up to a couple of hours before waking. Bonus - no morning grogginess! Results of mugwort experience: Britt took mugwort in tea form before bedtime. It in fact did increase the vividness of her dreams that night but also triggered the first and worst nightmare she'd had in years, so the anecdotal experience has thus far been a one-off. Perhaps she should take Cheri's advice and use it in a dream pillow instead of in a tea.
