51. From solo to SUPPORTED: 3 crucial steps to dispel loneliness and receive all the help you need
The "solopreneur" is a MYTH, and one that creates a false sense of importance, independence and sadly, loneliness. But we are not lone wolves, and we could not do it alone if we wanted to!
Today's episode of The Sage & The Song examines the issue of loneliness and entrepreneurship, and looks through 3 facets of insight to arrive at a more holistic and relieving reality of what it looks like to put down the "solo" torch, start asking for help, and then receive support with grace and gratitude.

49. The insatiable hunger for ENOUGH: contemplating the hungry ghost, scarcity and money
"When we engage in the material world without the experience of the sacred, we are simply in repetitive cycles of pleasure and pain."
Today's episode of The Sage & The Song is a deep dive on the meaning of enough, and an inquiry into the ravenous nature of humans to always obtain and consume more. We explore the archetype of the Hungry Ghost, examining the implications of this insatiable hunger in relation not only to money, but to how we experience life.
Stick with me! Though this sounds like a pessimistic and cynical perspective, I'll bring you through with light-heartedness and hopefully some helpful perspective shifts.

47. Don't serve your broke-ass thoughts any tea (and other Buddhist contemplations)
Buddhist philosophy and mythology serve up some helpful metaphors in the form of whether or not to "serve tea" to our thoughts, stories, and narratives.
In today's episode of The Sage & The Song we explore a specific contemplation on money, and use one such tea metaphor to examine how we get caught in cycles of scarcity thinking, and how to break free. I also included a story of the Buddha and Mara, another wonderfully helpful tea analogy.

45. Love, Money and Inadequacy
Have you ever heard it said that "love and money are connected"? Well my friends, I had a startling epiphany of how intimately connected these realms are, meeting in the heart of a core wound we'll call "inadequacy."
In today's episode of The Sage & The Song I'll share a story of realization and awakening, where I came to see how a long history of so-called "inadequacies" in relationships came to show up in my money house. My hope is that my story invites you to contemplate how these two realms interact and weave together in your own life, and perhaps see some newfound clarity on where it's time to heal one in order to uplevel the other.
