Domestic Violence
Circumstances call for a slight change of format, and it is exactly what we did in the new episode of Broken Millennials. In the past few months of Covid lockdown, the amount and severity of domestic violence have reached a crucial and dangerous point. We believe that by shedding light on this extremely important and overlooked issue, we could make a small contribution towards bringing awareness about domestic violence.
As we often hear, abuse thrives in silence. So let us change that and speak up about it. Helping us with that will be our new guest, Galina Desyatova, who has worked in the US as a counsellor with men who use violence in their intimate relationships. She will talk about gender stereotypes, law enforcement to help victims of domestic violence, and the difference of approach to this issue in the Western and post-Soviet world.

Illustration as a way of cognition
As so many other people, in your childhood your teacher or parent might have classified you as a "visionary" or "auditory" learner. But guess what - it's not all that easy! Today we are discussing the visual perception of information, and helping with that will be our new guests: illustrators and cartoonists from all around the world.
The conversations wander off occasionally to other topics, such as good ol' creativity, inspiration, and other kinds of artistic expression. Stay tuned and enjoy!
