In the first episode of our California PC 187 podcast, we discuss the horrific torture-murder of 20 year old, Massachusettes native and child actor, Anthony "Tony" Guest in early September 1996. After the girl he is crushing on complains about Guest's "unwanted" advances towards her to psychopath Spencer Brasure, Brasure offers to "just scare" Guest into leaving her alone. Known in his neighborhood in Hawthorne, CA as a bully and incorrigible jerk with a tattoo on his belly that brags, "MY MOMMA DON'T LOVE ME," Brasure has more in mind for the boy than anyone can possibly imagine. We fill in a few gaps we left in The Shadow Park Murders, make corrections and/or apologies where due. We also answer our own questions from last show regarding how Time of Death is determined. Short, sweet, hopefully informative.

The last episode was harder on us mentally and emotionally than we ever anticipated. It totally fucked us up. Therefore, we have decided to make episode three somewhat educational and light hearted. We take a more in depth look at California Penal Code 187, as well as give an overview of the Law Enforcement Agencies that serve Los Angeles County.
