How do gender roles affect society?

Why is media representation important? (check description)

On this episode Rhyu talks with Maya about LGBT+ representation in the media and what good representation actually looks like. They discuss the effects of good and bad representation. They also discuss different topics surrounding the way self-harm, relationships, and dating apps are portrayed in different TV shows. How do gay dating apps affect the LGBT+ community & mental health?
In this episode Rhyu brings on Kenya once again to talk about gay dating apps. They express their opinions on dating apps while speaking about their own personal experiences on them. They touch on different apps and their differences, mental health issues, and grooming. They also discuss the parallels in gay clubs, the gay dating scene, and online dating. At the end of the episode Rhyu and Kenya leave listeners with safety tips for dating in general.

On this episode of Q&Gay Rhyu brings on Aubrey to discuss compulsive heterosexuality. In this episode they define it, explain how the problem affects the LGBT+ community, and how the media imposes it on society. They also touch on gender roles, "the perfect relationship", and the importance of accurate representation.
Is Pride too capitalist?
In this episode Rhyu brings on a fellow student at the school that he is attending who plans to study Political Science. Gracy, the student, talks with Rhyu to provide insight on the current state of Pride and capitalism. They touch on Pride Festivals, its roots, rainbow washing, and what a more radical pride might entail. At the end they provide insight on what allies can do to be better allies.
What is the queer experience in school?
In this episode Rhyu talks with guest, Crystal, who has a B.A in Psychology with a minor in Women's, Gender, & Sexuality studies, about the queer experience in school and what it was like navigating life through middle school, high school, and college. They dive into topics of time, technology, bullying, and internalized homophobia.
