This podcast dives into one of the most rampant scams to emerge from the pandemic, that of foreign currency exchange fake brokers. There are many variations, but generally, they are simply trying to con you, using a long game, into either sending them money directly (rare), or tricking you into sending it to a fake broker though a legitimate app. And yes, they are very good at what they do and very high tech. Some simple tips to avoid this and similar scams.
