Teaching Therapist about the Wonderful Counselor
In this Zoom workshop I talk to future therapists about the Wonderful Counselor, Jesus Christ, while also breaking down a basic understanding of clinical depression.
Depression and Physical Health
I am honored to have a good friend Rick Primerano on the podcast today! Today we talk Depression and Physical Health! Rick resides in Wheatfield NY and is married to his beautiful wife Leanne. They have 3 children: Joey 5, Riccardo and Carmela (twins) 3. Rick’s life currently consists of running a personal training studio 10+ hours a day with his wife while also raising their three little blessings. In addition, Rick and his family also have 4 dogs! For Rick, family time takes up most of their free time for leisure, but Rick is sure to have quality time with his wife and have date nights which are a must to take breaks in life. Rick is also a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan. He follows them very closely and tries to go to as many games as possible! Life can get crazy and hectic but to Rick, “family” is everything! “Without it you have nothing.”
Depression and the Workplace
In this episode I talk with a friend Peter and the topic of depression and the workplace. Peter Englert serves as the Adult Ministries Director at Browncroft Community Church. He's an avid fan of the New York Yankees, Brooklyn Nets, Buffalo Sabers, New York Jets, and the LA Galaxy. You can find him in a coffee shop enjoying a good discussion or walking around his neighborhood.

Defining Depression and Symptoms
The goal of this short episode is to define what depression is and what the symptoms are.
I am pulling all the information I am reading directly from the Mayo Clinic's website.
I am hoping that by sharing this info that the person with depression, a care giver, or someone who is just curious to learn,
may gain a baseline understanding of what clinical depression and the symptoms are and how it affects various populations differently.
