Current projected Ontario rate of cancer is 1 in 2 over a lifetime. Part of your job is to use endoscopy to detect GI cancers in your patients. Can you provide your insight and any evidence to support your thoughts regarding the role red meat plays in this if any? What is causing this unabated and rapid increase in cancer incidence in the developed world and what we can do to prevent it as individuals and as a worldwide community?
