Connecting the body and soul through yoga
Today’s episode is a good one! I get to speak with Randy & Dan, two amazing yoga instructors from Abode Yoga that I had the chance to meet while in Bali earlier this year.
Most people assume yoga is merely a workout, but for a lot of people, it’s much more than that.
One of the biggest takeaways is that you may not be ready to shift your mindset into that awareness and that is OKAY! Dan mentions how straightforward getting into alignment is to him personally, but that everyone has a different experience and process on their own journey.
Overall, this episode is seriously good for the soul. Randy and Dan are experts in the field of connection and presence and we touch on so many things on how to get the mind to move out of the way in order to align the rest of your life.

Finding success in unsuspecting places
This episode I get the chance to speak with Andrea Castaneda about her flower press business.
Andrea quit her full-time job three months ago to pursue her passion and hasn’t looked back since! As a creative person, she left her career in digital marketing after six years to use her creativity as a business.
Since going full time, she has surpassed her own expectations as far as success goes. Even though she hasn’t “made it big” quite yet, she is well on her way to being a success!
We also speak about the hustle behind the scenes. Not only is it the work itself, but it’s a lot of sales and spending weekends at markets promoting yourself and your products. But all of this is worth the time since face-to-face interaction helps improve overall revenue.

Committing To Passion
Today I get to speak with Cherri, a dedicated entrepreneur who owns a women’s active line called Built In Beauty in addition to working a full-time job! Talk about hustle!
Built In Beauty started in 2017, and has gained momentum more recently after Cherri decided to take the dive full time. Cherri is in charge of all designs, fabrics, and production and launched her first collection just a few weeks ago!
Cherri’s philosophy is that women should feel comfortable walking into the gym or down the street while mentally and physically feeling strong.

Planting Passion To Bloom Business
In this episode, I get to speak with Courtney Butts, the owner of Soulfully Rooted Birth. Courtney is a passionate doula who combined her love for helping others and supporting new moms into the ultimate business.
Some may ask what even is a doula? A doula is a woman who is trained to assist another woman during childbirth and who may provide support to the family after the baby is born. They not only help with the birthing process themselves but can be utilized for education or questions throughout the pregnancy. A doula's goal is to create a positive birthing experience while supporting mothers through a life-changing experience.
To be honest, I was not familiar with the world of a doula before speaking with Courtney but one thing is for sure, I will be hiring a doula when it comes time for me to have kids! Courtney is positive, charismatic, well-informed addition to have on your "birth team" in the delivery room.
