The 'CatCast: Episode 9 with Parker Bramlett

In the ninth episode of the 'CatCast, Mike Edwards and Josh Kozelj welcome the HarbourCats primary leadoff man Parker Bramlett to the show. The Angelo State product talks about starting in the 2019 All-Star game, going four for six in that contest with over 30 MLB scouts in attendance, and pursuit of the HarbourCats single season stolen base record. 

We also dive into what inspired Bramlett to pick up the sport as a youngster in Texas, playing multiple sports including football (he was a two-way safety and running back), and some of his favourite Major League idols once he decided to focus purely on baseball.

'CatCast Episode 1 — Todd Haney

Episode 1 of the 'CatCast features new HarbourCats Head Coach Todd Haney. In this inaugural episode, hosts Mike Edwards and Josh Kozelj chat about Haney's experience having served as an Assistant Coach on Brian McCrae's staff last season and how he is looking to put a stamp on his 2019 roster this summer. We also dive into Haney's time in the Big Leagues, and how he carved out a five-year MLB career after being a 35th round draft pick of the Seattle Mariners. Haney talks about his first Major League hit in St. Louis in 1992, how it was a relief to round first base for the first time in the Majors after going hitless in his debut a few weeks beforehand—and narrating the experience of standing beside Cardinal great Ozzie Smith at second base.
