Find confidence by challenging the saboteur
So many coaching clients speak about lacking confidence - wanting to find ways of increasing their self belief and feeling confident. Even seemingly confident people tell me that they still criticise themselves and beat themselves up and that it's a daily struggle to feel OK in terms of confidence levels.
So in this podcast I look at ways of challenging the inner narrative and finding a version of confidence that works for you.

How are your boundaries? Do you find it hard to say no?
Few of us realise it, but boundaries are an integral part of healthy relationships, work life balance and self esteem.
Working as a coach, much time is spent discussing boundaries and how to set them. From people pleasers feeling the need to say yes to everything to stressed business leaders not looking after themselves, most of us could do with a few changes to our boundaries.
Do you ever find people speak disrespectfully to you? But you never speak up and stop them? Do you feel constantly put upon but never voice your true feelings?
Listen to this podcast if you'd like some ideas on how to get started with boundaries.

Is a fear of the unknown getting in the way?
What gets in the way of you doing what you dreamt of? Us humans beings are extremely good at putting up obstacles to stop us from working in a job we love, living how we'd like, starting a business, making changes to an unhappy existence. We'll continue with the status quo, no matter how unsatisfactory just to avoid facing what's on the other side.
From conversations with coaching clients, I've noticed many commonalities when it comes to what holds us back and one big obstacle is the. fear of the unknown. It can be paralysing and many of us will avoid at all costs.
In this podcast I step through techniques for overcoming this fear and finding ways of making the unknown a little less daunting and a little more 'known'.

How to build confidence and self belief
Following the theme of what gets in the way of us achieving what we want, I look at the theme of self confidence and how a lack of it can really hold us back. From working with individuals and hearing what really works, I look at simple things we can all do to build confidence and self belief. Stepping out of your comfort zone can be reframed and by hunting the good stuff, we can reprogramme our minds to see the positive, good things that we can do as opposed to constantly focusing on the negative stuff and our weaknesses.

Is fear of failure getting in the way?
What gets in the way? What stops you getting started? You might be wanting a new job, you might be a senior leader, looking to make your mark or you've got a business idea but just can't take the first step into making it a reality. Fear of Failure is a common theme when it comes to wanting to start something or do something different from the norm. Often challenging our assumptions on the meaning of failure is a great place to start and we can slowly reframe our way of thinking and find courage to make changes.
