No CAP
You might have heard the slang term, "No CAP" or seen the blue cap emoji used in a group chats. The term is used to convey that someone is being totally and completely honest; therefore, adding the word "CAP" pretty much means lie. In a time where many people have a flawless public facade on their social media accounts, it’s no surprise that this word has become popular. Many individuals CAP by wearing a mask and hiding their true feelings. These individuals may refuse to set boundaries and remain uncomfortable for fear of displeasing others or suffer silently in despair to appear outwardly strong or capable. Join Tee as she talks the real, No CAP, and discusses the importance of showing up for yourself and how using the term "high functioning" depression can reinforce the shame/stigma associated with depression.

Let's Stop
We’ve all heard it before… The friend who is determined to change your perspective is gaslighting. LET'S STOP! The self-absorbed boyfriend who cheats on his partner is narcissistic. LET'S STOP! The audience at the Oscars are traumatized by Will Smith’s behavior. LET'S STOP! Such analogies are so familiar they surely qualify as reposts & hashtags. They are also inaccurate and, to many, trivializes real pain while contributing to a stigma around mental illness. Join Tee as she breaks down commonly misused mental health terms such as gas lighting, narcissistic, and trauma.
Moving Forward
Tee talks about grief and shares small ways to move forward with grief in acts of healing. Grief has no set timeline. We don't just grieve the past and move on, we instead grieve the past, present, and future carrying the memory of our loss as we move forward into the next chapter of our lives.
