Building the Blue Collar Dream

Building the Blue Collar Dream

By Chandra

We will be interviewing women, minorities and allies that work, have worked or want to work in the high paying building trades. We feel it’s important to do interviews and collect their stories for future generations. The fight to push the blue collar and union trades towards a more integrated and equitable future continues we feel sharing the amazing and real stories of minorities in the trades is invaluable to the progress we’ve been struggling to achieve. A more professional environment will be beneficial to everyone working in these jobs and help maintain union relevance going forward.
