104. Getting Flown Out To Washington D.C. By Meta | Not Wasting Opportunities
From May 16th to May 18th I was in Washington D.C. for Meta's Meta Boost Gather event. They paid for my flights, hotel, transportation, and even covered food while there. The best part? I wasn't alone. Joined by 499 other business owners I was able to collaborate, meet, and network with other amazing members of the Leaders Network. Prior to this event, I couldn't help but think about a previous one I attended and didn't make the most of. It's vital that when the right opportunity occurs, you don't waste it.
103. Pursuing Proactive
Proactive's definition according to Oxford Language is an adjective that means, (of a person, policy, or action) creating or controlling a situation by causing something to happen rather than responding to it after it has happened. Being proactive yourself is essential to your success in many aspects of your life. Find out how you can become more proactive and its importance in this episode of Chase the Vision!

101. What Is Public Relations
To celebrate Mashman Ventures' second birthday, I wanted to have a conversation on the subject of public relations. In this episode, I discuss what it is, how narratives are directed, what PR firms typically do for businesses and individuals, and why it's beneficial to hire one for your own use (such as Mashman Ventures). Oh, also don't forget to pay the fee :)

99. Good Deeds
I have a challenge for you today! I want you to go out of your way to do a good deed for another person. This can be as simple as holding the door open for someone at a store or helping an elderly neighbor with their trash. Good deeds are done without seeking reward, but ironically you'll be rewarded regardless. Good deeds make you feel good.

98. Promotion, Promotion, Promotion
Creating great content alone won't necessarily result in likes, followers, and views. Having a great product or service alone won't necessarily result in new business. If you want to grow, it will boil down to how much you are promoting. In this episode of Chase the Vision I discuss why promotion is important and the role confidence plays.

92. Making Introductions
A great way to build your rapport with a client or individual can be found in making an introduction. If you are presented with the opportunity to put two or more people in contact with one another and have a feeling that it will be a mutual value exchange, why wouldn't you!? Taking the time out of your day to show that you care and that you thought of the other person is a representation of who you are and your pursuit for longevity in relationships. I share some examples from my own life in this episode of Chase the Vision.

91. Pursuing Authenticity Leads To Inauthenticity
90. My Take On Crypto and NFTs
For the first time publicly, I am directly sharing my perspective on the investor's market. I've gotten into heated debates on the subject, but in this episode, I speak about cryptocurrencies, the Metaverse, NFTs, real estate, and even stocks. I don't expect to be agreed with, so don't go messaging me saying I'm 100% wrong and some skeptic. You have your beliefs and I have mine. Only time will tell who's right in the long term.
89. Giving Advice vs. Wasting Your Time
It's safe to say that all of us at one time or another have given advice to a person who was asking. I think it's also safe to assume that we gave that same person the same advice, with little variation, more than once. When does your advice lose its value? When should you set a boundary with the person on the asking end? As a bonus, I talk about how to deal with clients who aren't doing what you have told them to do, therefore hindering their received results.
88. 3 Steps To Regaining Momentum
Losing momentum from time to time is a fact of life and a hard-learned lesson in business. What I have seen happen is one oftentimes loses interest or focus in one area and begins subconsciously redirecting that same energy towards another. This, in a traditional sense, is known as burnout. How do you get back on track after a period like this? How can you reestablish the momentum you once had and even supersede it? In this episode, I cover 3 steps you can use to regain momentum in whatever situation you may be in. Don't dwell on what happened, imagine what has yet to. As a bonus, I include a 4th step that can help prevent the same thing from happening in the future.
87. Getting Wisdom Through Social Audio, an Interview with Dayo Akinrinade
Since Clubhouse's launch in 2020, there has been a slew of new social audio apps come to market. It's important that with these new applications, there are features that stand out. One such app is Wisdom. I was personally asked to come on as an early beta user in September 2021 and have since stuck around because of the uniqueness it offers. Today I have the opportunity of interviewing Wisdom's founder and serial entrepreneur Dayo Akinrinade about her start-up and dive into her other ventures and previous achievements. Want to join the community? Please visit wisdom.audio
86. Why Not?
There can be multiple reasons why you do what you do. Why you're working as hard as you are. Finding your "why" is what according to many is the thing that leads you to success. I, on the contrary, believe it to be not only a buzz phrase that has been thrown around quite a bit in recent years but also a subject of contemplation. Rather than asking "why" try asking "why not?" Why not pursue your potential? Why not start that business? Take back your power with this question.
85. Internal vs. External Validation
This is a talk I gave on the app Wisdom (https://wisdom.audio) over the subject matter of internal vs. external validation. As social creatures, we often look to others to validate our actions and decisions when in actuality, we should be validating them ourselves. Take 15 minutes to learn more by pressing play!
84. Bare-Bones Business and One Good Monster, an Interview with John Timmerman
In this interview with John Timmerman, Founder, and CEO of Good Monster, a digital marketing agency out of Syracuse, New York, I had the opportunity of diving deep into his story and in his early days in business. A creative idea led to a paying client, multiple clients, and eventually evolved into Good Monster as we know it. He shares information in a bare-bones way, which I am assured will help you in your own processes. A serial entrepreneur, Timmerman has taken his successes and launched other businesses, including a self-marketed annual conference NoBullX which we also cover.
83. Words Have Power
If you ever stopped to evaluate your language and how you speak, chances are you would find a lot of uncertain verbiages. From "I'm trying" to "I'm going to" and "It would be nice", words have power. A lot of power. Those three examples are some of the most used phrases I have personally seen. In order to hit your goals and get to that level you're striving to get to, you must watch how you speak. Speak in a manner of "I am" instead. Listen to this episode to find out what I mean!
82. Mentors, Personal Branding, & a Remarkable Story, an Interview with Blitzmetrics' Founder, Dennis Yu
In this episode of Chase the Vision, I sit down with Blitzmetrics' founder and CEO, Dennis Yu in what I would call my most captivating interview to date. With a less technical and more personal approach, our conversation covers Yu's early years and his experiences with mentors, to recent challenges he has been faced with within his businesses. If you want to learn from somebody who's worked at Yahoo, has a course coming out with Jake Paul, and has spoken on literally hundreds of stages, this is for you. If you want a glitz and glamour, fake guru, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
81. The Lost 9/11 Tapes of the Student's of Stuyvesant High School, a Conversation with Joseph Fenity
Today marks the 20th year anniversary of the tragic event known as 9/11. This event murdered thousands of innocent civilians and left the world scarred, yet for a time also unified. Joseph Fenity was a sophomore in High School, a mere 15 years old when this event happened. Although he was across the United States in Texas, he embarked on the task of getting the perspectives of younger people who were mere blocks away from Ground-0 rather than that of the adults. This resulted in an intensive documentary and interviews with over a dozen students. 2 decades later, Fenity rediscovered several previously unreleased interviews and brought them to me to help get these now-grown students' voices, heard. Over the last decade, he has ventured into the world of fitness and higher health, having provided services to hundreds of people including many celebrity clients. Bryan Greene is the owner of The LOOK Fitness in Newport Beach, California, a personal trainer, podcast host, and serial entrepreneur.

78. Meet The Audio Engineer Mastering The Music Industry, an Interview with Tristan T. Roberts
When referring to the music industry, few people shed light on those who are behind the scenes making a song listenable and perfect. I am talking about audio engineers! Covering topics such as royalties, the role a record label has in the age of streaming and self-distribution, and personal branding, if you are an artist, performer, or someone who simply loves music from a fan's perspective you'll want to tune in. If not, tune in anyway!
77. Personal Branding; Fact or Myth?
Is personal branding all just one big myth? Something that exists in our minds and language, but not in reality? In a recent conversation with someone on Facebook, the person claimed it was a myth and that building your personal brand is the equivalent of your ego building. I felt the need to discuss this topic and shed light on the truth.
76. Keep Up Or Get Left Behind
There are times in your life that serve as major learning lessons. Although you may not recognize them when they take place, looking back you can see the value clear as day. In this episode, I reference one such time that is applicable in both business and in life. I ask the question, what happens if someone you know can't keep up at your pace? Are you supposed to leave them behind? Where does the balance come in? And, what if you're the one lagging? I'd love to know what you think after you're done listening!
75. Freelance Struggles, Ghostwriting, and Using HARO For Press, an Interview with Famous Ashley Grant
"Famous" Ashley Grant is a blogger, freelance writer, ghostwriter, and podcast host. First connecting with her through one of my pitches using HARO (helpareporter.com) I decided to bring her on Chase The Vision. In this episode, we cover a ton of insightful information ranging from how to pitch yourself, the struggles of your early years in business, and her experiences having written a book that became a best-seller, yet, couldn't take any public credit for it. To be able to grow a fan base and generate millions of streams is by no means easy. To do it with little external support in a city and state without much of a music scene is even harder. Peech is an artist from Utah who's got a massive amount of talent. Connecting with him through a mutual friend, we talked, I listened, and I knew he had a lot of value to provide to Chase the Vision's audience. In this interview, we cover his early days, playlisting, and the music industry. We may or may not have covered what's next for the underground soon-to-be mainstream act too!

Alongside his wife, they have organically scaled the platform to over 10,000 users since launch and can comfortably say he's feeling more fulfilled than if he stayed in his corporate position.

Coming from a small city of 2,500 people in rural West Virginia, Logan Mandeville is the complete opposite of his childhood surroundings. You grow, you invest into yourself, and you remain persistent, knowing that your decision is firm. I had the chance to recently interview Hynesite, an artist, producer, and personality who is actively becoming his brand. We also talk about brand psychology, sales, and patience in length in one of my all-time favorite conversations to date.
