Flux Episode 4: 'A Life worthy of the Gospel / Your Ultimate Fulfilment'
It’s always good to know what you are aiming for, isn’t it? Seeing the picture of the recipe you are following for example, it helps give you an idea of what you are trying to achieve. It tells you how to cut the halloumi or what to do with that avocado. Maybe sometimes we also think if we could see a picture of the end of our lives then we would be sorted, we would know what choice to make to get where we are ultimately headed.
Join Tiwani and Olivia in our final podcast of our FLUX series, where they explore the joy we have as Christians of knowing where we are ultimately headed. They reflect once again at Paul’s letter to the Philippians and how we can live a life worthy of the Gospel in all circumstances.
This podcast works alongside our ‘FLUX’ resource, a devotional book designed for School Leavers and Freshers to support them through this season of change (or flux). It walks through Philippians, and also includes some articles to help point them to Jesus in this season. FLUX is a completely free resource thanks to our financial supporters. Flux Episode 3: 'A Place Of Belonging'
We all want to belong somewhere, whether you want to belong to a specific football club or a specific town we all want to be associated to or belong to a specific place or group of people. So how do we know that we truly belong?
Join Olivia and Tiwani as they explore where we truly belong, and if as Christian’s we are united in our place of belonging what does that look like for us.

Flux Episode 2: 'Unique Purpose'
Whether it’s choosing what to have for dinner, whether or not to buy what’s been in your basket for the last week or choosing which modules you want to take this year, we all make decisions everyday. Some big, some small. Some of those bigger choices point towards the question : what is my unique purpose?
Join Tiwani and Olivia as they dive deeper into this question using our Flux Resource. They talk about how they find decision making and how what Paul says in Philippians can help us as we discover our unique purpose.

Flux Episode 1: 'Identity'
‘What’s your name?’, ‘What course are you studying?’, ‘What are you up to on the weekends?’. Questions you’ve probably asked and answered hundreds of times within the first few weeks of university. All these questions point back to one thing - who are you?
Join Olivia and Tiwani as they explore our true identity using the first section of our resource FLUX. They work through the joy of our true identity being found in Jesus,
what this means as you start university but also how this impacts how we interact with and share Jesus with those around us.

Many people watched on in shock and horror as news concerning apologist Ravi Zacharias broke headlines in February.
Ravi was a pioneer in modern day apologetics, a gifted Bible teacher, and the esteemed figurehead of a well-respected global ministry that has helped thousands in their Christian faith over the last decade. Not surprisingly, then, when the news came out about the scandalous goings on in his life behind closed doors, believers were left feeling hurt and disappointed at how such a seemingly mighty man of God could fall so hard.
Ravi is not the first, and will unfortunately not be the last to have this story.
Glen and Alison discuss how we as students, leaders and the wider church can rise up in disappointment, seize the opportunity to grab hold of truth and put our ultimate hope on the perfect author of faith.
The Christian + Politics
CUI Chair Jim Crookes is joined by world renowned author and social critic Os Guinness, for a special episode on The CUI Podcast on the Christian and politics.
The world watched in shock at the events that unfolded on January 6th outside the Capitol building in Washington DC. Protesters held signs that said “Jesus Saves” as they rampaged through one of the greatest symbols of democracy in the world.
In both Ireland and the US, evangelicals are confused and dismayed by the astonishing speed with which their culture has rejected its Judeo–Christian roots. Some are tempted to fight politically in defence of a Christian Nation; at the same time, tens of thousands of young adults from evangelicals are moving into agnosticism or liberal post–evangelical communities.
How far should Christians get involved in politics? How should we engage effectively with a post–Christian world in a way that honours the Lord Jesus Christ?

Should we be on social media?
It's a loaded question, isn't it?
The negative effects of social media is a hot topic a present. How can we as followers of Jesus make best use of the digital world? Should we be in it at all?
A few months ago, Netflix released a documentary called 'The Social Dilemma'. The film explores the rise of social media and the damage it has caused to society, focusing on its exploitation of its users for financial gain through surveillance capitalism and data mining, how its design is meant to nurture an addiction, its use in politics, its effect on mental health.
We got together with evangelist Matt Lewis from South Africa to hear his thoughts on how we can glorify God in an eco-system that preys on the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of mankind.
