In July 2019, cyclist, fundraiser and founder of the Recycle Yourself campaign Ryan Anderton will take on the mammoth challenge of cycling from Nordkapp in Norway to Tarifa, the southernmost point of Spain. A 4200-mile journey through 12 countries in 20 days, to raise money for mental health awareness for men and also for his Lee Fancourt Mental Health Fund. Lee holds the world record for this particular tour, but passed away from suicide in January 2018. I talk with Ryan about all things mental health, including suicide prevention, Andy’s Man Club, and of course the benefits of cycling as a wellbeing tool.
