Reading Hemingway: A Moveable Feast
"A Moveable Feast" is one of my favourite books. No one has ever described Paris in the 1920s better than Hemingway. He gives his thoughts on social equity, ex-patriation and emigration, art during the crisis, etc. Hemingway and his wife, young and happy lived high on low or almost no money. It's still a feast, though sometimes a Spartan one. The story makes you smile and gives hope.
In this episode, I'm reading the first chapter -"A Good Café on the Place St.-Michel". Hope it would encourage you to read or listen to the rest of it.
