St. Louis Square
As teenagers, Françoise Sullivan, Pierre Gauvreau and Bruno Cormier shared many readings, discussed music, painting and films. They often met at St. Louis Square.

The Monument National is a theater built between 1891 and 1893. From 1938 many Automatists will take part of shows and plays presented there.
Atelier de la ruelle
The Atelier de la ruelle was the studio of the artists Marcel Barbeau, Jean Paul Riopelle and occasionally Jean-Paul Mousseau, from the fall of 1945 until the end of April 1946.
