Exclusive: Taking The Long Road with Hannah Bae of Halmi
This week’s guest, Hannah Bae, is the founder of Halmi! What is Halmi? Well,
Halmi (our nickname for grandma in Korean) is a modern take on classic Korean flavors. Spun from real ingredients, we aim to flavor the conversations that reconnect you with your roots.
Their first flavor is cinnamon, ginger, jujube, and persimmon…and it is DELICIOUS!! It is modeled after a traditional digestive beverage in Korean culture and one that Hannah grew up disliking. She came around to the flavor and wanted to make it work for her life. So, she combined it with sparkling water and tested flavors on her loved ones during the pandemic.
Check out this today’s episode to hear more of her story, why slowing down is so important in business + life, Korean culture’s influence on her life, and so much more!

S4 E5: Food Inspires Connection with Cam Bailey of Crooked Owl Hard Tepache
Welcome back to another amazing guest interview! This week I'm chatting with Cam Bailey of Crooked Owl Hard Tepache. We get into working with a significant other, balancing work & play, finding connection through food/bev, and so much more. Cam was such a joy to talk to and I'm so thankful she was willing to share her story.
About the brand--
Crooked Owl is the first hard Tepache brand on the market! Cam and her husband took their love for traditional Tepache and turned it into a 5% ABV bev. This allowed Cam, who is gluten-free, to have a go-to bev option. They soft launched this year (2023) and will be having a formal launch in 2024!
I was lucky enough to try their brews when I was out in Atlanta and OMG are they delicious!!

Exclusive: "Doing Enough" with Christina Kown from All Phenoms
I’m so excited to welcome Christina Kown from All Phenoms sparkling functional beverages to the podcast this week!
In this episode we chat about the concept of "doing enough" in our personal and professional lives + how that manifests in our wellness journeys.
About All Phenoms--
As a former professional athlete and self-proclaimed wellness junkie, Christina and her husband have always been keeping up with the latest wellness trends.
Their journey to starting All Phenoms happened during COVID when they realized they had a lot of time on their hands and wanted to take further control of their careers outside of the corporate landscape. After realizing the number of artificial ingredients and other junk going into the “wellness” beverages they were buying, they knew they could do better.

S3 E43: 23 Things I Learned at 23
Welcome back to the pod! In today's episode I give a little life update and run through my list of 23 things I learned at 23 years old. S3 E42: The Healing Powers of the Ocean with Carissa Cabrera of Future Swell
Welcome back to the pod! This week I'm so happy to welcome on Carissa Cabrera of Future Swell. Carissa is a ocean conservationist working on solutions to heal our oceans and protect our coral reefs. The ocean regulates our global climate system and is often a missing piece in key climate solutions. The climate crisis can often be a divided issue, when it should not be, but the ocean is an area that brings everyone together. We all have such a deep connection to the ocean regardless of where we are located.
In this episode we chat about our inherent connection to the ocean, what we can + should be doing to support mother nature through the climate crisis, and a truthful look into climate anxiety. This is such an important conversation especially in lieu of the recent fires in Maui.
Enjoy the episode and remember how important your actions + voice is in the climate crisis!

S3 E41: The Importance of Practicing Gratitude with Daniel Shaffer of Gratitude Plus
Welcome back to the podcast! I’m so excited to share this episode with you all featuring a good friend of mine. Daniel Shaffer is the Founder & CEO of Gratitude Plus (a previous sponsor of the pod!). After working through grief and looking for ways to get through it he found gratitude journaling. From there he decided to build an app so he could share his gratitudes with family + friends and lean on them to hold him accountable with his mental health.
I’ve chatted a lot about gratitude journaling on the podcast and finding this app has made such a major impact on my mental health journey. We all know my mental health has been on a never ending wave this year but my practicing writing daily gratitude lists I’ve been able to soothe my mind. This episode is a great listen if you are unfamiliar with gratitude journaling or are on the fence about starting it. It’s also great for those that are looking for mental health practices that have a low barrier to entry. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about it!

S3 E40: The Art of Pivoting
Welcome back to the pod! Today's episode is all about the art of pivoting! I've chatted on the pod about how I have been through *a lot* the past few months and have been a little angry at the world that it's happening to me. I've had to pivot more times than I can count but most recently have made changes to Wholesome. I'm at a spot now, because of those changes, where I feel so much better. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and I've come to the conclusion that life is about how we react to external factors. We know we can't control everything which can be a hard pill to swallow but oftentimes the best things come from pivoting. Hear more about this in today's episode -- it's one of my favs

S3 E37: Nurturing Houseplants and Building Community with Cait of Botany Box
Welcome back to the pod and welcome Cait! I'm so excited to be chatting with Cait, the founder of Botany Box -- an online succulent shop. Botany Box and Citrus Diaries both got their start in 2018. I've been following Cait's journey since the beginning and it's so cool to see all the growth that's been happening. In this episode we chat, of course, about houseplants but we also dive into the sense of community they bring. It's such a fun episode even if you know very little about plants. It reminds you of all the ways you can take care of yourself and find community. Enjoy!

S3 E36: Prioritizing Wellness & Acceptance
Hi hi! Welcome back to the podcast! I'm so excited to share this solo episode with you. My live has been all over the place the past few months and I've gotten to the point of acceptance. Accepting that the future I thought I was going to have does not exist anymore. Simply because that was not the universe's plan for me and that's okay. Since realizing this I've come to terms with the fact that I have not been taking the best care of myself. I gave myself a ton of grace, which was absolutely necessary, and now it's time to pick back up the pieces. In this episode I chat about my new wellness practices, my exceptions for them, and intended results. I hope you enjoy and always remember that healing/wellness is a cycle, we're never perfect!
