In 1968 Night of the Living Dead came out and changed cinema forever. Much less talked about is the following film by most of the same crew, There's Always Vanilla, a slice of life drama/romance film in the vein of things like The Graduate. Is it a hidden gem, or is there a reason why this film has mostly been forgotten? First time guest Johnny Catalano joins the show to talk about his history with film and his exploits as a filmmaker, and then he and Jake dive into the movie.

Christina is back on the show, what a joyous day it is! It's time for her to walk Jake through one of the big John Hughes movies he missed growing up, and maybe try to convince him Ducky isn't an annoying little pervert. How does it go? You better listen to find out.

It's Justin's turn to pick a movie, and we've got a proper classic this time around. Walter Hill directed buddy comedy action movie starring Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. Did this start the genre? Maybe, it definitely started a lot of things. But how does it hold up? Well, that's what listening to the episode is for guys.

It's an actual classic this week, The Sting. How does this conman flick hold up after all this time? Especially since it became incredibly apparent that every subsequent movie ripped this one off? Justin is back on for a reverse episode. Jake is a fan of Point Break, but will Justin be? The only thing guaranteed this episode is a lot of Gary Busey and Keanu Reeves impressions.

Not one, but two Predator films debut on today's episode. Justin didn't feel content just putting Jake through the mediocre follow-up to one of the best action movies of all time, instead we have to talk about Shane Black's abomination from 2018 as well. It's a long, sloppy episode, it's all over the place, it's borderline incoherent at times, wait, are we talking about the episode or The Predator right now? Check it out?

I wanted to do a navel gazing episode where I look back on some of the best films I've found while doing this show. Wow, it's been three years! Time flies when you're watching some of the best films of all time.

Robert is back on the show, and this time it's to honor the recently passed madman himself, William Friedkin! They go in deep on Friedkin's films and history, and then they talk about the movie. Is it truly Friedkin's best film? Is it sad that we don't get sequences in movies like this anymore, or is it probably better for everyone's safety?
