While us as consumers may even avoid certain food groups with an environmental rationale, wouldn't you like to see changes across the food value chain, which can mitigateemissions at post-production levels, all the things the consumers can’t control product-to-product?

With post-farm emissions rising rapidly, a publicconsultation process started earlier this year for the Climate Bonds Food Value Chain Criteria. And to celebrate its launch, we discuss the finer details with Sustainability Analyst Aishwarya Sankar.

Last week saw the launch of Climate Bonds' new Resilience Taxonomy at ClimateWeek NYC. There are trillions of dollars worth of investible resilience projects now defined by our taxonomy, such as building elevated roads and bridges, flood barriers and levees in cities that are prone to flooding, supporting farmers to adopt drought-resistant crops and irrigation systems, and planting trees, creating parks and restoring wetlands.

We urgently need to get capital flowing to these kinds of projects to help prepare the communities and systems we live in for the impacts of a warmer, less predictable world.
