CYP017: Brooke Weisbrod - Women's Basketball and ESPN
Brooke Weisbrod has always represented CCU the best she could. As a student-athlete, a Wall Fellow, a professional basketball player and as an analyst and commentator on ESPN. Brooke always had a well-rounded skill set that has benefitted her in every avenue of her career and will only continue to do so. Brooke has given back to CCU with her time and advice on countless occasions and is a Chant forever! Enjoy this conversation spanning her entire career up until this point.
CYP016: 2013 thru 2015 Men's Basketball with Warren Gillis
The Regulator Warren G, Warren Gillis, joins us to talk about the back to back trips to the NCAA tournament from 13-14 and 14-15 for the MBB team. This team set the HTC Center ablaze and has some of the most memorable figures in CCU Hoops history. Warren takes us through the progression of a team trying to live up to previous seasons, then finding their own identity. Plus the feeling of cutting down the nets in front of #TealNation!
CYP015: Sara Nolan of CCU Women's Lacrosse
Today we speak to Sara Nolan of the Women's Lacrosse program. Sara was on the inaugural team in 2013 and has been close with the program ever since. It was great to go through the progress of the team through her eyes. When the Chants are back on the field next spring make sure to come see this team play, they are a blast!
CYP014 - 2012 Softball with Kiana Quolas
Kiana Quolas was a dynamic 2-way player since the time she stepped on the field in 2012 and is still just as dynamic during interviews! The 2-time pitcher of the year joined us to talk about her freshman year, the 2012 season that saw the Chants win the conference tournament for the first time since 2006 and make it to the NCAA Tournament and really put the program back on the map. Kiana is still coaching at GWU and you can hear the passion for softball is still strong and her passion for the Chants is even stronger.
CYP013: Malene Hansen - Women's Golf
This week we talk to Malene Hansen, 2-time team conference champ with women's golf, 4 time top-5 finisher at the conference championship and the 2018 Sun Belt individual champion. Malene spoke to use from her home base in Conway as she waits for the Symetra Tour (one step below the LPGA) to get started after the hiatus caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
CYP012: 2005-06 Men's Basketball with Colin Stevens
Today we bring you the year that brought CCU MBB back on the map. A great mixture of talent, upperclassmen, young guys, stars and a deep bench. The 05-06 MBB team had Kimbel Arena filled to capacity and more in the second semester of that season, and reignited the excitement on campus for hoops in Conway. We spoke with senior point guard and leader Colin Stevens about this season and so much more, enjoy!

CYP010: 2003 Men's Soccer with Eric Quimby
An incredible season deserves an incredible conversation. Today we have Eric Quimby, CCU Men's Soccer alum talking about the magical 2003 season and run to the Sweet 16 the Chants made. This team hosted the first ever NCAA post season game in Conway, had the top GPA in all of Men's Soccer that season, and had the National Player of the Year in Joseph Ngwenya. What a season it was and we had a great time going over all the great moments from that year. Enjoy!
CYP009: Blair (Monroe) Mueller - 2005-08 Women's Soccer
Our first Hall of Famer on the show! Blair came to the Women's Soccer program in 2005 from North Myrtle Beach High and put the conference and region on notice. Her 17 goals her freshman year is still the CCU record and propelled her to become the highest tallying goal scorer in program history which still stands today. We talk that special freshman season but also get into the development of the program while she was on the field and since.
