Michael shares about the different resources available to students through the center and how students can get connected to them. TAEC helps UO students enhance their learning and success through tutoring, classes and workshops, individual consultations, graduate school test prep and supplemental instruction. Learn more about the University of Oregon's Accessible Education Center
In this episode we talk to the University of Oregon’s Associate Director of the Accessible Education Center, Katie Wolf. Katie shares about the different resources available to students through the center and how to get connected with them. The AEC is dedicated to facilitating and supporting accessible education through access and full inclusion of students with disabilities into the university environment. This is accomplished through effective collaborations/consultations with faculty/staff, proactive advising, and the fostering of systemic campus change. Support & Resources Available for Dreamer & Undocumented Students at the UO
In this episode we had the opportunity to interview Justine Carpenter, Director of Multicultural and Identity-Based Support Services here at the UO. Throughout the episode Justine will be talking about legal support, scholarships, emergency funding, and other general resources available for Dreamer and undocumented students on campus. This episode is also in collaboration with the Financial Literacy For Dreamer Students Taskforce; a group comprised of faculty and staff in collaboration with the Financial Wellness Center at the University of Oregon united in providing high-quality financial literacy educational programming for UndocuCommunities.
