On this episode I talk to the always animatedly fresh, my friend & fellow South Floridian, incredibly talented Cristhian Saravia (aka Golden305)! He's from Caracas, Venezuela has a huge personality that translates into his massivly prolific character art. Known for using vivid colors & creating vivacious animated caricatures, he’s been creating large-scale street art murals for the past decade & continues to master his craft. We talk how we met, his obsession to paint, discovering his style, Wynwood Buggies, why he always has a grill with him. On the 2nd half, we talk NFTs, where he is taking his art, family, his trajectory & SOOOO much more! An urban hip hop Froggie spreading positivity, love & spray paint fumes! This episode I talk it up with my friend & amazingly talented renaissance artist GoopMassta. We dive into how we first met during Miami Art Basel `17, his iconic froggie character that's painted from Cali across the world. In 2019 I was invited to a movie premiere for Vandal at "Miami Film Festival" at the Tower theater in Little Havana Miami FL. A movie about the gritty Miami street art scene and the dark side of the city. I absolutely loved the movie and felt connected to it so I really enjoyed attending. I was able to speak with lead actor Daniel Zovatto plays (Nick 'Damage' Cruz), Frankie J. Alvarez plays (Chino) & Richard Schiff plays (Jacob Lipman). I made the a "Mini Episode" since it is so short, but so fun ENJOY! This is Come Art Me Bro!

Vandal is the story of Nick Cruz, also known as “Damage,” a young, highly talented graffiti writer and artist, struggling to justify the world of illegal graffiti as he experiences loss, love and the consequences he created for himself. Set against the back drop of the world famous Wynwood Arts District in Miami, the film explores the personal and societal struggles of an extremely talented underground graffiti writer living by a code that is no longer justifiable in the new world of globalized graffiti/street art.  

Vandal, inspired by true stories, was shot on location in Miami’s Wynwood, Little Havana, and Little Haiti neighborhoods, highlighting Miami's gritty streets as well as its multi-cultural heritage.

"Come Art Me Bro" is a podcast series hosted by Puerto Rican Artist, Photographer, Clothing Designer Cool nerd & Owner of Devious Elements Apparel based in the heart of the art scene Miami FL "Jose Antonio Firpi" his friends call him "Tony". Every episode will be a fun, conversation journey with fellow Creators/Artist friends that always have a very different point of view. Tony has invited friends and people he admires to talk with his as open mined as possible, and very much as blunt as possible. This Podcast is a reflection of actual conversations he typically has with fellow creators. So the conversation won't always be about art or the typical "What are your inspirations?" fluff.
