We invite women of colour from all different backgrounds to our conversations to tell their stories. Join us as we embark on a journey to discover empowering teachings from influential women.


Dhanusha and Megan are two digital content creators from South Africa who are passionate about diversity and inclusivity for women of colour. Dhanusha is focused on self-care and lifestyle for millennial women. Megan is a self-professed foodie and body positive activist. Both are highly addicted to coffee so grab a cup and join in the conversation.

In this episode, we chat with Selina Mutale and Fiona Masuku. Sels and Fi, as we know them, are two successful women working in Project Management and Finance. They left Zimbabwe at the age of 18, to further their studies in their respective fields. After completing their studies, Sels and Fi formed a beautiful friendship, which is empowering to see. This episode shares more details about their journey, the struggle they face as black foreign women in South Africa and some of their favourite spots to explore over weekends.

Her purpose is to change the landscape of the health and beauty industry by championing the economic inclusion of women. These powerhouses are on a mission to change the beauty industry, by training women of colour to become business owners. In this episode, we chat about the natural hair movement and recent hair brand mistakes with two influential women, Foyin and Amanda. Foyin Ogunrombi is an established beauty and lifestyle influencer based in Cape Town. She uses her platforms to discuss current issues relating to women empowerment, gender inequality and representation. Amanda Carpede is the founder of glowing up and co-founder of Cape Town Naturally. She is one of the first natural hair influencers in South Africa, who believes that embarking on the natural hair journey is a way of reconnecting with your inner self.
