Funding your Digital Series
In this episode I talk about how I crowdfunded my series QUEENS ep. 2, and how & where I found grants to apply for. Personally I'd opt for crowdfunding over grants because with grants there's only 9% chance of receiving it (stats shared by grants I applied for), while crowdfunding is based on your ability. I'd choose accountability over anything.

Amplifying POC voices with Nicole Maxali
Nicole shares her journey quitting her job & leavin' behind everything she knew in the Bay area, and movin' to NYC to act. Shit was rough in the beginning, but eventually she found her footing when she did her one-woman show at NY Fringe Fest and got an agent & manager.
Aside from acting she's also out here creating safe spaces for POC/Queer artists through her improv class at @metaden, and amplifying Pinay, Asian American, female, cannabis voices thru her webseries @good_vibes.
