Episode 18 - Fully Shining Women Leading the World

Episode 18 - Fully Shining Women Leading the World

Join me as I speak with Meghan Gilroy, founder of Fully Shining Women Wisdom School about how we can shine from within using our intuition and being vulnerable as women leaders, stand in our power and create a bigger impact in the world. We have a great conversation and I hope it's inspirational for all of you.

More about Meghan Gilroy:

As the founder of the Fully Shining Women Leading Our World movement and the creator of the Fully Shining Women Wisdom School, spiritual teacher Meghan Gilroy’s soul purpose is to catalyze and connect women in a true sisterhood of women supporting women.  Named a nagual woman (shaman) and “spiritual leader for the next generation” in her early twenties by international best-selling author of The Four Agreements don Miguel Ruiz, Meghan shifted from being an over-achiever and people-pleaser to following her intuition and making the hard choices to listen to her soul.   After marrying her husband two weeks after their first date, she’s quit high paying jobs that didn’t light her up, partnered in creating multiple 7-figure businesses, and moved cross country based on an astrology reading.  She has since worked with thousands of women around the world online, on retreats and in women’s circles drawing from her ancient spiritual lineage, sharing intimate stories from her leaps of faith in life and channeling teachings and messages of inspiration.   Now based in a small mountain town in Colorado with her growing kiddos in a blended family, two ginormous puppies and a horse named Al, Meghan navigates life as a working mama while nurturing the incredible women in her modern mystery school.

Episode 17 - Part 3 of the DE&I Series: Inclusion

Part 3 of the DE&I series - Inclusion

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) has been an important topic that has come to light especially within the last year after seeing how people of color are being treated in the workplace and literally on our streets. As a woman of color myself, I wanted to understand more about how to bring DE&I into the workplace but that requires a greater understanding of what DEI is over the surface meanings we all know. Although DE&I come together, each term has a different meaning which my guest, Dr. Shindale Seale and I discuss.

Dr. Shindale Seale is an expert on DE&I, and teaches this to her clients as well as to students at the university level. She is a DE&I Strategist, Founder of a nonprofit, & Professor of Organizational Change, Design, & Leadership.

Join me and my guests, Bridget Shannon and Dana Barron as we talk about body shaming and how we need to be more body positive. Episode 2 - Boundary Setting and Why Your Name is Meaningful

Episode 2 - Boundary Setting and Why Your Name is Meaningful

In this solo episode, I talk about the importance of setting boundaries and how not to be a toxic person ourselves. I also talk about why our name is important; we need to be called by our names because it's empowering, over being called derogatory names even if it's playful by nature.

The book I mention in the episode is called Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life by Henry Cloud and John Townsend.
