Who, What, When, Where, Why?!
We're back baby! We begin our long awaited (well long awaited for us anyways) excursion into the world of Gigbuldihr and meet our epic heroes chose from all across time and space to save the realm... well they're supposed to be epic... and will be eventually... well if they don't die first, but I digress. Our heroes take their first steps towards that aforementioned epicness by agreeing to investigate and stop a horde of rampaging beasties after an... unconventional negotiation with one of the big shot Council members of the land. We learn a bit about just how cool these guys are supposed to be, how minotaurs use chopsticks and more! Welcome to Gigbuldihr and get ready for a wild ride!

I.D. Filler Episode Number Two
Part Rwo of the Connor Is in Quarantine So We Had to Do Something else so We Decided to Start Icewind Dale as Preview of the Next Campaign Before We Go Back and Finish Up Curse of Strahd!
I.D. Three Wanderers in a Winter Wonderland
We're back this week and switching things up a bit since Connor has been on quarantine, yay pandemics. This week the group delves into the Rime of the Frostmaiden adventure. I promise we will actually finish a campaign, just think of this as sneak preview into our next adventure. Anyways, this week, we meet out new ragtag group of misfits, who get to play detective and track down a killer....and end up getting sidetracked by alcohol because of course they do.
C.o.S. Dinner, Macaroni Art, and a Much-Needed Weapon
Well, they finally did it, they broke the DM in this episode. This week, our heroes head off for a fancy dinner party with Strahd, and after a derailing conversation that kept returning (because Hugo Weaving is in everything), the party decides to accept a quest from their vamp host to remove the burgomaster of Vallaki. Magicae manages to convince the burgomaster to see him late at night, warning him that someone is trying to kill him, while Ssolarian takes the stealthy approach, proving to be said someone. Oh, and he found a magic sword in the attic and the technically new burgomaster trying to magic himself out of Barovia.
C.o.S. Prequel-ish
This week, due to a limited party we delve into the origin stories of Kolof and Magicae....or something like that. We delve into Tales of the Yawning Portal as Kolof and Magicae explore the White Plume Mountain to recover some stolen artifacts. Kolof shows just how awesome she really is and Magicae learns that he's like Woody Harrelson and can't jump (because I had to figure out how to make a White Men can't Jump reference).
Interlude: The One Where Chase Teaches His Kids D&D
This week thanks to our lovely DM having finals coming up, we were unable to play an actual game. Chase came in clutch and introduced his daughters to D&D thanks to Dungeon in a Box, recorded for your listening pleasure.
C.o.S. I’ve Been Through Barovia on a Party with No Name
This week, we start off with more fortune-telling because of course we did. Magicae and Ssoloarian begin to form a magical bromance and the party gets a pretty open-ended invite dinner from Strahd when they return to Vallaki for the festival. And the festival, hoo boy what an anti-climatic event that proved to be, sheesh. We also meet the real highlight of the night: a crazy old shop keeper because there always ends up being that one NPC that the party loves more than anything else in the entire game (who is usually made up on the spot).
C.o.S. Dire Creatures
This week our party clears the out the Wizards of Wine and decides to go on a delivery mission for money and so they can finally get their damn fortunes read by Madam Eva. Along the way, they encounter a multitude of things, include our old friend Harold the "Trapper". After dropping off the wine to the Blue Water Inn, they head off to the Tser Pool Encampment and finally meet Madam Eva....and make the DM do way more fortune-telling than he wanted to do.

C.o.S. The Flames of Ssolarian
This week, our heroes head off to figure out what happened to a wine delivery for the innkeeper at the Blue Water Inn because Connor was super unprepared and that sounded like a good idea to him. Along the way, some dire wolves taught Magicae a human emotion that'll serve him well in Barovia: fear. Once at the winery, the party quickly learns all is not well and Ssolarian goes full Drew Barrymore (pretty sure she was in Firestarter) and burns pretty much everything he can. RIP a couple of random horses.
C.o.S. The Day Nobody Died
This week, our heroes set off on your typical fetch quest as they reach the Church of St. Andral and learn that it's missing some bones. They meet John's new character, a Yuan-Ti sorcerer named Ssolarian. After hunting down the culprit, they end up committing some minor arson, and with some strong hinting/ urging from the DM, they manage to avoid death by vampire. Then they head off to the inn, get in a minor bar fight, make new friends and head off to bed with new quest hooks to be forgotten about by next week.
C.o.S. Throom's Final Form
This week our party somehow manages to progress the plot (with only minor railroading by the DM) along with a junkie murder straight out of a trailer park true crime. Throom murder's Ashe for harshing his mellow then the party escorts Ireena and Ismark to Vallaki. Along the way, Throom separates from the group while being sneaky sneaky and ends up at the home of the Dream Patries: the windmill everyone warned the party to avoid. Throom ends up in a Hansel and Gretel type situation, only he's the one that ends up in the oven....good times.

C.o.S. The Grung, The Altar, and The Mound
This week our party finishes up the death house. They pretty much beeline straight through the dungeon, somehow managing to make it the last room without any confrontations by pure luck. Once in the final room, Magicae accidentally pisses off the spirits of the cult by hopping off the dais without killing anyone......which leads to Kolof almost dying again. Then, the party runs out of the house that is now trying to kill them and meets Strahd in the street outside, who doesn't try to kill them....yet. Also, we bid farewell to Seebo the bard, since Connor took over as DM and had to figure out what to do with his character.
C.o.S. The Elephant Who Knew Too Little
This week our heroes wander around the haunted mansion, looting, playing with toys, etc. Magicae plays with a dollhouse and Throom and Seebo have zero luck finding anything besides a random dead body in a box. They end up finding a hidden staircase which leads them into the bowels of the house with spooky chanting filling the corridors. Good times.
Interlude: It's All Greek to Me!
C.o.S. Don't Trust the Warforged!
This week our heroes are lured into the supposed haunted mansion by some creepy-ass children, although can it really be called being lured if they were planning on going there anyway....but I digress. Once trapped in the mansion, things go downhill after some brief looting of the lower levels. Kolof meets some armor impervious to her hugs, Throom meets a broom (heh that rhymes) that sweeps him away, then Kolof meets a specter that also is no fan of hugs, rough night for Kolof.
C.o.S. John's New Addiction
We finally actually officially start into the Curse of Strahd! During a lovely dinner party, our new heroes officially join forces to remove some gypsies from outside of their benefactor's town, since no one likes gypsies. After meeting the contingent of random people they learn of a far off land of troubling troubles. After agreeing to help these randos out, our heroes travel to the land of Barovia and things are creepy from the start and just get worse from there.
Interlude: A Pirate's Life for John
This week, we take a detour since our DM for the session vanished mysteriously so we tackle a one...er um two-shot courtesy of Dungeon in a Box (free sponsorship for them). Our new heroes for the session explore a magic temple and spent way too much time playing with the effect of Wild Magic surges.....good times. Then some minor possession later, they find the temple's treasure and get word of an even better score.
C.o.S. You Pulled This Out of Where?
G.o.S. And That's a Wrap
G.o.S. Turtle Surfin'
G.o.S. Why Don't You Be a Good Fish and Die
We're back after another quick quarantine break and our heroes continue to explore the sahuagin lair. After searching every coffer they came across for treasure (and Zack filling them up with random junk) then encounter some rather well-guarded slaves, fail their first attempt at rescuing them, ran away, made a plan for once and succeeded the second go around. (Will they learn from this? I can confidently say no. No, they will not.)
G.o.S. Don't Feed the Turtle
G.o.S. Thomas Jefferson Lied
This week, our heroes explore the mysterious island they found and discover various types of wyverns that nearly kill them because of course they did and find very little treasure to really justify the near-death experiences....with great risk comes great reward my ass.
G.o.S. And Now Back to Our Regularly Scheduled Monster Slaying
WE'RE BACK!! WOOOO!! Anyways, we return to Saltmarsh and join our heroes as they decide to hit up the good ol' town job board to see what's good. They agree to get rid of some merfolk who have been terrorizing the docks and take care of a hydra because John's dice wanted to try and kill the party. Finally, they set off to a mysterious island that's all mysterious and...island-y.
