Ep 9 The Black Eyed Children: Ghosts, Aliens, Vampires, or a Group Manifestation?
Perhaps one of the first urban legends of the Internet, the Black Eyed Children have been terrorizing the general population since the 90s with their soulless, black eyes. Shay tells us a few stories about these entities, and she and Jen try to figure out if they're ghosts, vampires, radiation survivors, or just a group manifestation.
Now let's explore.

Ep 8 Sarah Boone "The Hide-and-Seek Killer" or "The Suitcase Murderer"
Sarah Kathryn Boone is a 42-year-old Florida native and in February 2020 she was accused of stuffing her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., into a suitcase, forgetting him, going to sleep, and waking up to his dead body still in the suitcase in her living room.
Sarah is now facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of Jorge Torres Jr., who died after being zipped into a suitcase and left inside the suitcase for hours unable to breathe, according to Orange County investigators. We are getting close to the 3-year mark and the trial has been moved a few times. The latest update is for Boone to appear before a judge for a pretrial hearing on January 17, 2023, at 9 am.
So the question remains, was Sarah scorned by a cheating boyfriend, or maybe it was the alcohol use that night or was it really a hide-and-seek accident? Whatever it was, Sarah is a horrible liar and can’t keep her story straight. The lies are so baseless, it just makes you feel angry, and baffled nonstop and will incite a deep claustrophobic pain for what Jorge endured during his final moments of life. So, let’s explore this case together.

On November 13, 1974, Ronald DeFeo Jr. shot and killed six members of his family at 112 Ocean Avenue, Amityville, on the south shore of Long Island. He was convicted of second-degree murder in November 1975. And while that should be the end to a very upsetting true crime case, it isn't. At least, not as far as the paranormal is concerned.
Join Shay and Jen as they are educated by Jane and Deklan on the horrible murders and insane hauntings that plagued 112 Ocean Avenue.

A Darrell Edward Brooks Jr Mini Series: Part Two
Darrell Edward Brooks Jr., 40, was a real-life villain and was convicted on October 26, 2022, of six counts of first-degree intentional homicide and 70 other counts related to the Waukesha Christmas Parade on November 21, 2021. He killed six people when he drove his SUV into the parade and faces six life sentences. Brooks had pleaded not guilty and represented himself during the trial. At the time of the parade, Brooks was out on $1,000 cash bail related to charges filed earlier in November in Milwaukee County. Brooks was charged with punching and running over the mother of his child. The district attorney has said his low bail was a mistake. According to court documents, a jury trial for Brooks remains scheduled for Dec. 12 on charges related to that case.

Ep 6 Diane Downs: The Demon Mother From Hell
Elizabeth Diane Downs shot her three children on a dark, remote road near Springfield, Oregon, in May 1983. Around this time, she had an affair with a very cute and very married man named Lew Lewiston who not only refused to leave his wife despite the affair but had zero interest in having children.
Are the murder and affair related? We’ll see.

Ep 5 The Farmville Murders of Richard "SykoSam" McCroskey
On September 17, 2009, just after 3 pm, the four bodies belonging to Mark Niederbrock, Debra S. Kelley, and their daughter Emma Niederbrock were all found with Emma's friend, Melanie Wells bludgeoned to death at the Niederbrock home at 505 First Ave in Farmville Virginia. The bodies were discovered only three days after Emma, Melanie, and an online friend, Richard had all gone to a Horrorcore concert. It seemed like such a random slaying, but the shaky rationale becomes obvious upon further investigation.

Ep 3 Aileen Wuornos: The Tragedy That Could Have Been Avoided
Born into a chaotic world, Aileen Carol Wuornos never seemed able to catch a break. One would think that the world outside of her home would be less cruel after she spent years suffering so many sexual assaults at the hands of her own grandfather, neighborhood kids, and supposedly her brother. Unfortunately, the outside world had other plans for her.
While this may seem like the setup for a case of a battered woman who endured years of trauma, it turns out that Aileen lived long enough to see herself morph into the villain and seven lives would be snuffed out by her hand.

Ep 2 Roland Doe: Truth Behind “The Exorcist”
After 14-year-old Roland Doe’s aunt's death, the boy's family experienced strange noises, furniture moving of its own accord, and ordinary objects flying or levitating when the boy was nearby. Roland was allegedly exorcised by a priest, and the events surrounding the exorcism were used as elements in William Peter Blatty's 1971 novel The Exorcist.

Ep 1 The Chowchilla Bus Kidnapping
In 1976, 26 children between the ages of 5 through 14 were returning from a hot summer field trip at the Chowchilla fairgrounds swimming pool. They weren't too far from their destination when they were intercepted at gunpoint by three men, Frederick Newhall Woods who was 24 at the time, his friend James Schoenfeld, also 24, and James' younger brother Richard, 22. All three men came from affluent backgrounds and, by all accounts, would have no need to kidnap these kids for ransom. So what was the point of this seemingly senseless crime?
