We're back! Welcome to Season 4, Episode 1, of The Boland School Spotlight Podcast. In this episode, you'll hear from Principal Bakowski sharing some awesome news about the gains we've made regarding our status in the district. Also, you'll hear about exciting events happening around College and College Month and listen to some students share what they want to be when they grow up. We'll introduce a new segment with Ms. Cockfield, librarian, called Library Talk, about what's happening in the library. Finally, you'll hear my interview with our very own, Jason Perkins, who's publishing his first picture book, Rock Stars Don't Nap, in November!

Meet Boland's New Librarian, Krishna Longanecker!
In the first episode of Season 2, we shine the spotlight on Boland School's new librarian, Krishna Longanecker! She'll talk abut what being a librarian means to her and the changes she's making to the book collection to promote diverse identities and experiences that foster a more inclusive environment. Also, Krishna will share some exciting news about how students can start to check out books through curbside pickup at the school.

Spooky Sounds, Giving Thanks, & Girls on the Run!
The second episode of the Boland School Spotlight podcast brings you spooky sounds created in Mr. Wutzel's music classes. Also, we'll remember the Thanksgiving season by hearing student's and families share what they're thankful for at the Annual Boland School Thanksgiving dinner. Finally, we'll celebrate the end of Boland's Girls on the Run team by listening to what the girls will take away from the experience and hear the sounds of race day at Smith College in Northampton.
