The power of external love 💌 | Dear Teens of Gen Z ep. 9
Being in such a happy mindset makes me 10x more grateful for every ounce of love, every kind word, every small thing. nothing gets taken for granted. love changes people. love changes lives. love changes mindsets and attitudes. love is love. it is special. I hope we can all experience an unforgettable love at some point in our unique lives💌
EGOLIFTING & Gym culture | Dear Teens Of Gen Z ep. 7
note: Anna is no longer a permanent partner in this podcast, its just me, but she will be popping in every now and then to say hey!
HEY!! welcome back bruv's! given that this is my first solo eppy, I had to talk about something which lights me on fire, which is obviously DA GYM and the entire conversation about gym culture and ego lifting and all that ish. I love listening to teenagers talk about this but there's not that much content on it out there. so here's me being the #changemaker LMFAO. If you're just starting on your incline walking after a good workout, perfect way to entertain yourself because I proceeded to have A PANICK ATTACK MID EPISODE. I'm still shaking and will not be okay for a few days. or at least until I go bench again. #traumatized but enjoy the eppy:)

Your burnout doesn't come from overworking yourself | Dear Teens Of Gen Z ep. 5
note: we tried something new just this week, where Anna and I (Raya) did individual episodes. hers will be out next week:)
By Friday afternoon, when I (Raya) come home from dance, I'm extremely exhausted and burnt out from the week, and I'm always wondering what I did that was so hectic. the answer is... in this episode;) I dive into the roots of burnout and where it comes from, how we can better manage it, and some steps to overcome. It's not an easy thing growing up in this day and age, but that's what makes this generation so different and powerful.
dear teens of gen z, we are valuable. we are already enough. when someone doesn't see that, understand you aren't meant to fill their cup

Taking smaller steps to achieve bigger results ft. LOLA!
LOLA is a successful musician, singer, actor, student and overall a well rounded 11th grader amongst dealing with highschool drama, mental health, relationships, etc. We talked to her about the Impact of this continuous pressure on us teenagers, especially as highschool progresses, to be the best. The best in your class, get the best grades you can, be the best version of yourself, but it’s exhausting. To achieve it all is exhausting. To go from step A ➡️step B in one night is NOT possible, and Anna and I beat ourselves up over it if we don’t (let us know if you do this too) ( btw ITS SO NOT realistic). In this episode, we dive deep into how LOLA accomplishes these BIG wins and successes on a weekly basis, while trying to live out her years as a normal 16 year old.

Why vaping and drinking helps you fit in! ep #2 - pt 2
HEADS UP, this is a part two to our first portion of the episode - listen to the 1st part to get more context on the convo!!
I was talking to one of the most confident girls I know, who told me about the societal pressure she feels right now, as she goes into a higher grade, to fit in with everyone else, so that she doesn't feel unacknowledged by people she will spend the next 2 years of high school with. and I'm so glad she said that. Anna and I dove deep into insightful conversations about the REAL reason vaping and drinking is becoming necessary to be 'known,' or to fit in, in high school. so much so, that we split the episode into 2:)
remember this: never give anyone the power to make you vulnerable enough to do what you don't want to do!
this is your life, and you must own it!

high schools NOT EASY bro. like lets be real, its not just the work, its the anxiety, the stress, the need to be perfect, the crushes, THERE'S SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST SCHOOL WORK. and nobody gets that, except us. so lets talk about it. together. and laugh at all our lame problems, while helping each other to overcome the obstacles which hold us back from being our best!
love u!
