Deployment Diary

By Harper Performance CIC

The HP Deployment Diary is a mini daily podcast featuring what we're doing whilst deployed overseas, why we're doing it, and some real-life reflections from the team as we strive to #MakeSportFairer through our work.

Project Uganda is the first of three projects under the Kanju umbrella from the non-profit social enterprise; Harper Performance CIC. We exist to tackle inequality in sport. Through small scale, big impact collaborations, our team of leading performance-science practitioners are supporting sportspeople from disadvantaged communities across the developing world.

Episode 1 - Setting The Scene!

Episode 1 - Setting The Scene!

Before departing the UK, our Founder; Tim, recorded a brief introduction to the concept and idea behind the Deployment Diary, what Harper Performance CIC actually is and what we're striving to achieve through Project Uganda. Tim also takes a moment to explain why he's heading to Uganda a few days before the team and what he's going to be up to.

In future episodes, we'll be including material recorded 'in situ' and throughout our day so as to bring you to the heart of the action whilst we are deployed overseas, so please bear with us as we get to grips with the format.

Feedback is most welcome via our social media channels. If you like what you hear, please do tell just one person. If you don't like, please do tell us how we can improve!
