Do you have the right kind of love? Let’s talk about it!

How long does it take to stop and get a full tank of gas? Based on my experience, a stop at the gas station can take anywhere from 5 minutes to over 20 years. Most of you are probably thinking, “How can it take 20 years to acquire a full tank of gas?” The funny thing is, a great majority of the people listening to this message are running on an empty tank.

When I talk about stopping to fill up your gas tank, you probably initially thought about a car, a truck, or some other man-made vehicle that helps you get to and from your destination. But I’m talking about a vehicle that’s driving your spirit, your essence. Let’s digress for a moment and think about that man-made vehicle with wheels that you’ve driven into the gas station because your tank was empty. How long did it take you to fill up your tank? Were you alone? Did you go inside to get snacks, use the restroom, or get distracted?

Why am I asking these questions? Because, just like with a car, filling up your spiritual tank can be delayed by distractions and other people. You understand that the longer you stay at the gas station, the more time you lose getting to your destination. Time will not stop for you.

What if I told you that the reason you feel stuck, stagnant, and complacent is because most of you are being driven by something you don’t even recognize? Your tank remains empty. You stopped at the gas station, but you still have an empty tank.

If you’re still listening, it’s because you want to fill up your tank. Maybe you’ve been trying to fill up your tank for days, weeks, months, or even years. The problem is, instead of being the driver in your life with a desired outcome, you’ve taken the role of a passenger. You’ve allowed someone or something else to choose where you should go and when you will get there.

It took me over 20 years to fill up my tank and take the spiritual wheel. My gas station had abusive relationships, people who did not value me, liars, cheaters, betrayal, fake friends, and everything not aligned with my passion and purpose. For over 20 years, my tank remained empty because that gas station only offered diesel, and premium was the only type of gas that could fuel my faith, peace, happiness, hope, and strength.

On December 31, 2015, I asked myself a question: “When are you going to take back the wheel and get to where you are destined to go?” As the tears rolled down my face, I took a deep breath and responded, “Now!” I took the wheel and drove myself and my daughter out of an invaluable relationship and away from all the people who misused and mistreated me. Because I took the wheel, my tank is always full.

I want you to write down four questions. Once you can answer these questions, your circumstances will change, your life will change, your direction will change, and you will begin filling up your tank.

Question #1: What is my desired outcome?

Question #2: Why do I want this outcome so badly?

Question #3: How do I plan to achieve this outcome?

Question #4: When am I going to take back the wheel and get to where I am destined to go?

This message is a premium gas station that you just stopped at. When are you going to fill up your tank? Don’t waste your time and energy on people who will do anything to prevent you from getting to your destination. Be mindful of the people who want you to stop so they can walk down the aisles endlessly at a diesel gas station you cannot use. Be aware of the people who are not ready to go when you’re ready to grow. Be cautious and clear about who can travel with you and who you must leave behind.

Every stop you make should have intent and purpose, and sometimes you will have to take the drive alone to get there faster. When you make strategic pit stops to fill up your tank, you will find opportunities that help you go further. Start filling up your tank today! Get in your spiritual vehicle and drive over every speed bump until you reach your desired outcome.

In your relationships with your family, friends, significant other, etc..., you can not use text messages to manage your relationships... Here is why...

In order to make a statement that something is yours, the car is yours, the house is yours, the relationship is yours, etc…, you have to support that claim. If someone says something doesn’t belong to you and they take you to court, you have to show proof it does. You have to be able to show in court you paid the mortgage to the house you say is yours, that you took care of that car you claim is yours, etc…. If someone else can prove they added value to something, they invested, they showed appreciation for it, the judge may rule in their favor, regardless of whether or not your name is on the dotted line. There are some women who under appreciate men and vice versa. How can something be considered a loss when you never treated it as a gain?

The only person you can put expectations on is yourself because the only actions you can control are your own. Support yourself even if you’re by yourself. Remember there is peace and focus to be found in solidarity.

This can be a trick question, or a simple question and I’ll tell you why the answer to this question varies...

The only person you can control is yourself. Have you ever asked someone these questions?

Why didn’t you respond to my...?
Why didn’t you share my...?
Why didn’t you attend my...?
Why didn’t you purchase my...?
Why didn’t you support my...?
Why didn’t you read my...?
Why didn’t you look at my...?

The most important word these questions have in common, is the word “my.”

You cannot force free will. You must accept that people have the right to choose.

There are two types of people in this world. There are givers and there are takers. Givers are self explanatory, but takers have been known to put up more of a facade. My purpose is to help you expose them so you can remove that energy from your presence.

A lot of people are involved in relationships, whether it be friendships, marriages, lovers, etc... where only one person takes accountability while the other does not. Allow me to explain why this is an issue.

Are you in a relationship with someone who is trying to change who you are? Are you the person who is trying to control and/or change the person you’re in a relationship with?

How badly do you want to change your circumstances? Are your actions reflecting this desire you have to be financially free?

Take a moment and think about what’s within you and what’s around you and ask yourself if you have the right kind of love...

What steps are you taking towards your quality of life? Are the people you surround yourself with serving your purpose? Are you happy?

Recognize the difference between #liabilities and #assets. #Finances can #BUILD you, but #CHARACTER can #BREAK you.

Message to my #Kings:

Recognize that a woman can add value to you financially, especially when she’s on her grind and has or is currently working on building a life separate from the relationship. However, her character, the way she handles herself, carries herself, conducts business, can dramatically decrease your value if it is not conducive with your vision. Choose based on her character first because remember, you can always build an empire financially together, but with poor character, everything you build will fall apart.

Message to my Queens:

A king who is financially stable in his wallet is awesome because he can add value to you, BUT he needs to be stable in his mindset to be able to #LEAD. Remember, the position of a King is to lead. The position of a Queen is to follow. We follow with our minds in order to #PRODUCE and #MAINTAIN what is in our wallets. It doesn’t work the other way around.

Explanation of the difference between men and kings and how to support the leadership of your king.

Understand that you have the right to deem someone unworthy of your gifts. Your gift could be closure, an explanation, T.E.A. (Time, Effort, Action), etc... If you have given all you have to give only to find there is no reciprocity or value from the other person, you have the right to say “I deem you unworthy of my gifts.”

You have to learn to recognize when you are investing your T.E.A. (Time, Effort, Action) into relationships, partnerships, and/or people that contain no reciprocity. Pay attention to what you put in and what you are receiving back...

Even though this post is inspired by the recent events in Cryptocurrency, where we took a huge dump and decisions were placed based on social media and the news, the point still remains that any decisions you make, are your decisions. Instead of blaming your choices on others, take accountability that you are behind the wheel of your own life.
