Many times you hear the heretical statement that A minister must marry a virgin or else he is out of the ministry, I call that the devil’s theology. The office of the New Testament prophet who is a preacher is type not by the Levitical priesthood but by the seer or the prophet of the Old Testament who could do certain things that the priest could not do. The Levitical priesthood is a type of the mystical body of Christ and not the offices of Ephesians 4:11. A prophet could interact with any dead bodies but not a priest. A prophet did not have to come from the tribe of Levy to be a prophet and the requirements of Leviticus 21 & Ezekiel 44 did not apply to him, that’s why Prophet Hosea could marry a whore while it was forbidden for the priesthood to do it. A prophet could cook his food on dried poop while the priest had to burry it and touching it would made him unclean. JOSEPH who was a prophet and not a priest could marry a woman in Egypt but not the priesthood, they would only marry among their own.
